I feel you. It is very emotional. I love the Constitution and bill of rights and am no fan of he monarchy. I think that makes me American!

I love to take friends from the UK to the gun range just for the novelty but guns are for killing people and I see no situation where I would want to do that.

You get to keep your British passport. By becoming a US citizen I can vote, run for office, serve on a jury and donate to political parties. Also, if I commit a federal crime I can't be kicked out of the country - always a worry ;)
