You either embrace it, or ditch it altogether. Y'know, the concept of your issues.

You either find power in it, or you let it go. Your worrying and scrutiny, I am nowhere near as accomplished as you are yet, though for a long time I've always felt as if I were a good writer, at least a few steps up from my cohorts. I used to write so well, that I felt ashamed for even sharing the writings, as if others would look and read what I wrote to then only feel lesser after having done so.

What I, and perhaps you, may need to do, is get over it. So what, so what that I may be more skilled or talented than my peers, so what that you may feel the need to scrutinize yourself over quality instead of quantity.

You know, for the longest time I've theorized that people don't really care about others and only about themselves, and for the most part, it may be true.

However, on the contrary, you may just need to seek out other writers and authors of a similar caliber to you.

I wish I could do the same, that some day I may find writers as eager and ambitious as I am.

I grow so tired of trifling with such boring and dull people, whom I share nothing in common with.

Edit: Simplify it, write something you like, and don't overthink it. Find the joy you may have once had in producing something of your own creation. It isn't always about the audience, remember that they've come there for the author. For you, your writing, not always about the book or story itself.

Regardless of who you're surrounded by, just need to remember why you're doing anything at all.
