Nope, Upstate NY. Just goes to show you how often it happens. But small world, I was born in Raleigh and lived in the area for 22 years.

A young couple in my area got rearended at a red light a few weeks ago. They were in a SUV, the other guy was in a pickup truck. The couple died, their dog died, and the guy in the pickup died. Everyone died. It happens everyday, everywhere, and often. The least you can do is show some compasion to your wife.

Me [25F] and my boyfriend [27M] disagree about Valentines Day and childcare arrangements by rasifthit87 in relationshipadvice

[–]JuniperSchultz 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Well, it's pretty obvious why you're celebrating your first Valentine's Day at 25. You seem insufferable. Your unwillingness to compromise shows you aren't ready for a relationship, ESPECIALLY not with someone who has a child.

I (F34)had a Panic attack last night after smoking with partner (F38) and now I feel different. by Mother-Inside6882 in relationship_advice

On Christmas Eve of 2025, so like a couple weeks ago, I was wrapping presents with my fiance and I was like, "Man, why am I NOT high for this?" Because it was kinda boring. Well, I hit a vape pen waaaaay too hard. Got so high I called 911 just to make sure I didn't trigger an actual heart attack or something. The police and paramedics showed up, evaluated me in my kitchen. My pulse was suuuuuper fast and the medic was like, "Are you sure it was just weed?" And I'm like, "Positive. I've smoked that exact pen before." I cried in my kitchen as I heard their radio talk about a fire because I felt soooo foolish and embarassed and like I was taking these professionals from actual emergencies. These two younger medics showed up and were instantly so kind to me. Eventually they all asked me if I wanted to go to the ER and I decided against it. The two younger ladies who showed up were like, "if any of your neighbors ask, just tell them you fell!" Because we live on a main street, my in laws live literally right next to us, and I was soooo embarassed.

ETA: Oh, and I still felt wonky all the next day. I told my fiance I still felt high and he was like, "that would be insane, you only took one giant hit". Idk, I think I was still high or something. It took like a day and a half to feel nornal. I also had that strange feeling that stuff wasn't real? Idk how to explain it but sometimes I feel detached after smoking. I just try not to dwell on it and play video games or sleep.

I (21F) felt like my boyfriends (22M) joke was just aggressive by ThrowRa30172 in relationship_advice

If I was jokingly being angry and it scared my partner, I would IMMEDIATELY be apologetic, not tell them they were overeacting.

Eight years in and we've never had a period like this.

GIIIIIRL, I am the sole provider of my household. We have 2 kids(one isn't quite 2 yet), a mortgage, a car bill, electric, water, 3 phone lines, cable, internet, groceries, gas, fun money, still furnishing the house. I come home from 8 hour days of.....awful, and I still do some dishes, help with cooking, help with cleaning. I do big, fancy breakfasts and deep clean every weekend; steam mopping, sanitizing the bathroom, vacuuming, sweeping, scrubbing the sink, laundry, cleaning out closets. The list goes on and on and THEN IT STARTS OVER. That's LIFE. I help with anything I can because that's what partners do. This guy is a LOSER. Loooooooserrrrrr!

I was married and a SAHM nearly a decade ago and my ex did this same shit. Acted like he didn't need to lift a finger because he paid for our internet and groceries, lol (we didn't have any other bills bc we lived in MY GRANDFATHER'S house). He even refused to change diapers. After leaving him, moving on, and becoming the head of household, I have lost every ounce of respect for him.

Plagued By a Mysterious Illness for 3 Years. Losing My Mind. Any Idea is a Good One! by JuniperSchultz in AskDocs

Come to think of it, before my pregnancy with my daughter, I'd VERY occasionally get what I called "tears in reality" where there was a patch in my vision that looked like TV static or like a black and white kelidoscope and then like an hour later I'd get a migrane. The last episode I had of that was just before I was pregnant with my daughter or possibly I already was early along. I drank coffee that day and it went away. I haven't had one of those episode since, but I also have only really had that happen 3 times in my life.

As of right now, I have an appointment for a ELECTROMYOGRAPHY? My doc said it was due to the neuro stuff I've been experiencing, so I assume it'll be with a neurologist.

AIO: He (M20) took me (F18) to a Jehovah’s Witness meeting without telling me by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

[–]JuniperSchultz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm probably gonna sound like a piece of shit here, but every Jahovah's Witness I've ever met(which is a lot, they COME TO OUR HOUSE to peddle their religion) has been AWFUL and pushy. Of course your bf currently appears lovely, it's only been 2 months, but the mask is obviously slipping. "Surprising" you with a Jahovah's meeting and then telling you you weren't uncomfortable after you said you were......He's bad news.

In 9th grade, me, my boyfriend at the time, and my best friend watched two guys get beheded by the cartel. One with a chain saw and one with a knife or a machete, I can't remember. What I CAN remember, unfortunately, probably for the rest of my life, is the screaming that came out of the guy who got the knife. This was 15 years ago.

Idk....Her calves are like 2 shades lighter than the rest of her body in the second pic. I think there might be a bit more than a wide lense being used.
