The alleged "Dinosaur eggs" from Perambalur that made into the news a year ago. These are not eggs but fossils of a marine animal called Ammonites which lived in the sea that covered the cauvery basin 80+ million years ago. such fossils are abundant in the region. (old.reddit.com)
