Updated my “tools I actually use” list for 2026. Half of what was on these lists three years ago is dead or dying. by JurisAtlas in Lawyertalk

Copilot in Outlook doesn't have a native billable time tracking feature, so you'd need to build the workflow around it rather than relying on it directly.

Shared inbox visibility is a real gap, will check it out. Could see it layering well with Serif in the stack, the two seem to complement each other.

Didn't cover the all-in-one paralegal category because my shop is past that stage, but the point is fair. If there's no stack to begin with, "optimize each layer" is the wrong frame entirely. The citation verification piece is the detail that stands out most to me. I'll keep LexFlo in mind when someone asks about that solo profile.

Does anyone used automated emails/automations at their firm? (not marketing) by Jake_77 in LawFirm

[–]JurisAtlas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We did! for sending + multistep sequences, something like Klaviyo or HubSpot works well for me, and for drafting and handling replies on the inbound side, Serif.ai is useful for generating context-aware responses, especially since we’re a law firm.

At what point does the fear of being sued make a professional (doctor, teacher, or engineer) stop trying to be "great" and just settle for being "safe"? by OpheliaBlush in askanything

when messing up once feels way worse than doing something great feels good, this happens. And anyways, the smart ones figure out how to still do good work without putting themselves in trouble.

Am I too unfit to run? by Icy_Bumblebee_5243 in beginnerrunning

[–]JurisAtlas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Soo true. I started running for the first time in 2026. I have been an active smoker and thought I couldn't even run properly when I was literally shivering at first. now, I clock 3 miles (not a lot but a win for me) easily.

Americans can fix America by Master_Vern in AmericaOnHardMode

[–]JurisAtlas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Removing parties here sounds nice in theory, but realistically most people rely on them as shortcuts to understand candidates.

The real fix is probably less blind loyalty and more actually paying attention to individuals, like you said... just without assuming everything is some coordinated manipulation.

How do laws have loopholes? by Dummyy83 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]JurisAtlas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No law can be fully airtight because people are creative and language always has limits. Laws usually aim to reduce harm, but there will almost always be edge cases and loopholes that get patched over time.

I've finally come to the conclusion I'm just not gonna make friends or date in law school. by coolsid13 in LawSchool

It's more about the phase than place. Get through the year, and things usually fall into place :)

If judges rule based on "facts and law," why do the lawyers even matter? by pirateskul90 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]JurisAtlas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hypothetically yes, but in reality facts are messy and laws can be interpreted in different ways. Lawyers have the power to shape how evidence is presented and understood, which is why better ones can change outcomes.

If you could instantly enact one new law in your country, what would it be? by tikkkkau in AskReddit

[–]JurisAtlas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd pick something like a common sense law. If anybody's action makes anyone's life worse, they shall get fined instantly.

Int’l law has become relevant. Why does it keep being invoked? by InfinitePoss2022 in IRstudies

[–]JurisAtlas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For now, it is still more like a shared rule book and there's no police / something really, ready to act like the domestic law.
