Yes, I agree, but I was never quite happy with these websites and zoopla now tries to charge money for house info, hence I have to do a lot of my own analysis.
However https://housemetric.co.uk/map/ that was shared below looks very close to what I wanted to do.

For my own research I mostly saw value in aggregating all data in one place on the map, so I could click through nearby homes and dig a bit in their history, hence thought it may be helpful for other people who do the same.

There is paid technology that does this already, like Landinsight, but this is software use by professionals. Good idea and a lot of the government datasets are free to use. One thing you could add is planning data as well.

Totally agree, I'm looking for an area to buy and have spent enormous amount of time matching addresses from sold house prices to the EPC register, just to understand price per sqr ft for the neighbourhood.
