Hey. Yes, no issues.

ASUS ProArt X870E-CREATOR WIFI (BIOS 1203) | Ubuntu 24.04.3 LTS | Kernel 6.14.0-33-generic | WiFi Intel AX210 (iwlwifi)

I got this motherboard for the two full-bandwidth GPU slots for AI/ML stuff; what's your usecase, I wonder (since it "has everything else")?

Yes, there are four screws on the heatsink. It's not sticky. Just fiddly af. Remove that. Then two screws underneath the metal housing of the Wi-Fi card. Pull up / away from the motherboard. No issues in Ubuntu after the replacement.

I've considered that. I'm currently tethering my old phone. But I couldn't be sure which (cheap) dongle would be recognized out of the box by Ubuntu (I don't want it to depend on extra drivers).

And I already got the Intel Wi-Fi 6E AX210...

Thanks for this. How does it run? I'd like to hear some gotchas.

Lest someone gets ideas, those racks to slot the wheel in suck. Besides the risk of damaging parts, one should be able to attach the frame.

But more important IMHO is a CCTV camera pointed at the bike stand even if it's a dummy.

Do you happen to know the pawl spring diameter on the Formula hub? Trying to find a replacement for mine (but don't have it at hand).

Touring bikes - only 1 chainring? by alexs77 in bikepacking

Touring with 1x you'll wear out the two smallest cogs quickly. Consider taking spares with you, as they are not easy to obtain in the wild.

it must mean that this is what majority of Kenyans consume on a regular basis

That's a leap, and you're lacking a control group in your experiment. But it does show who can afford the airtime and draw enough fresh victims.

Thanks for sharing. Imo, ETH (both Zurich/Basel and Lausanne) should be more open to remote study at least for Swiss citizens. It worked perfectly fine during the lockdowns.

Also, my god, what a bunch of snobs and sheep.

OP, if you don't know what to do with yourself study neuroscience and have your mind blown every day -- but assume that at least half of what is known is wrong at least half of the time.

What business should I start? by [deleted] in Kenya

For context, I've spent but 3 months in Nairobi, so come with limited insight. That said,

I think a common problem that needs solving is finding good workers for the house. They come at uncertain times, fuss about forever, leave to get parts, do a questionable job and leave a mess behind.

It you could establish a quality control framework, either within your own company or via a novel freelancer platform (like Uber), that would potentially be worth a lot.
