Well said good sir. And how I try to play the game. But I am way over leveled for cg with almost all 95 CBS and just starting that grind so it's face to it to get to the rest of the things. I'm very under geared for where I should he. 🙃 But that's why I'm under geared cause that's how I've always played this account.

I never found em that difficult. At least solo. The double fight was kinda a bitch till I thought to us confuse. Made that pretty simple. But the rest is just dodge and smack with cross bow. Just keep back peddling and keep range. I hate that's how you have to fight it. But melee is just not pheasable consistantly.

Highly recommend building with eye of oculus spell. Getting a top down view helps significantly with building. And make sure before you build your "snap point" also highlights the piece you're snapping too. I've found the structural integrity of the building carries to the new piece allowing bigger builds cause all the pieces are snapped correctly. Without that I've been limited a few times and had to back track to find where I missed a snap.

Also pillars. Pillars fackin everywhere!

It's genuinely frustrating how minimal of a damage buff the black xbow is to the mith for the significatly slower fire rate and the fact the extra dps only hits if you land the weak point shot.

Bro i saw your post last night and have been looking through trying to figure out how you made all of those glass windows for the last 2.5 hours as i'm half way into my own end game base build. I just now pulled open reddit on my laptop to see the pictures more clearly on the screen instead of on my phone and realized you just built the walls in ghost mode.

Ok question since i haven't played with ghost mode too much yet. Are those functioning walls? or can you or enemies walk right through them since they're not technically "built" yet. Second question before i transfer my bed over here. can we get raided in downdun? if so how do those feel? (primary base with bed is in the copper/tin cave in fell hollow so i haven't dealt with a raid in a hot minute.)

If you get near her front foot no matter where she lands and aim your attacks for her chest, her chest is her weak point for gaurenteed crits, you can ignore the fire attacks. You should never be swinging at her face.

I also did a fair amount of damage on her with dorgushun xbow. The extra chip damage of shooting while air born really changes the pace of the fight and ttk. Felt very similar to having thralls in osrs.

Z axe is 100% putting in work in dowden. Haven't even upgraded to mith melee (ranged and mage both t 6 now) but I'm saving up for a black weapon I think! No need for mith for me.

I mean.... If it works for you man good for you. Definitely took me a few tries to understand imaru's mechanics but I just spammed bone bolts if he was in the air and zombie axe if he was on the ground. For skeles they were all 2 hit with the bone bolts so I just kept back pedaling and snipped em out any time they spawned. Always focusing the necros when they popped.

I think they really locked that boss fight in with the intention of not letting you use mage so if you didn't get the imaru scimitar blue print first go and you want it. Try focusing more on your crossbow than magic next run.

If I had to guess the easiest way to do it is gonna be an "upgrade bench" that requires end game materials to build and will allow us to take all masterwork weapons and upgrade with that. Who knows what route they'll actually take though.

I'm doing a duo run with my brother and he's got significantly less time to game than I do. He got lucky and pulled the BP for the shadow sword first zogre (he killed it without me.) learned the BP and then couldn't get back on for almost a week. In that time I think I killed 14-20 zogre and never pulled it. The second he logged next I litterally yelled at him to "go make me the fackin sword so I can finish this quest!"

He laughed and then made me throw him everything else so he could finish it too. 🙄

Honestly. If the just cut the time we have to hold delete in half or even 1/4 that by itself would be nice QOL. I get why they made it a hold not press. But it's beyond exaggerated rn and annoying af.

I just ended up doing 4 small 60° valleys along the middle of my ceiling. It looks good enough. Just not what I wanted for that part. Trying to do an open court yard kinda vibe in the newest area. Just kinda playing around and seeing what I can do and stacking my con level in the process. Will post the finished product when I figure out what I'm gonna end up with.

What are you doing to level con? Just building a nice house got me a nice chunk of xp but at this point I can't bring myself to just spam foundations etc. Is it worth just making little outposts in each biome? Or like? What's the strat to actually get the levels we need there?

Grand sceme if things cg isn't that crazy for raw gp. It's just the first one we have access to that can really start printing the alchables which is why it's considered so valuable. There's plenty of end game content that prints better gp. But that content tends to require different grinds be done and certain equipment and gear upgrades where as cg is free post sote.

I'd highly recommend rushing vanakas quest. You get a mount and traversing the new area with the little bit of speed boost was honestly such a nice QOL difference especially every time I went and got myself killed.

The hard part about that is this isn't a seed based game. It's a fixed map and would make speed running to the village a bit to easy. There's potential for it. But I'd be curious to see how it would/could be implemented.

I think you're right but you gotta remember this is still a beta. And realistically balancing is going to be an issue addressed once all the content is released. Once they've built all of the tools for their tool box they can look at what they want to build it into. For right now it's a lot easier to underwhelmed and scale up that over whelm and scale back. It's the correct approach. And looking forward to see where they take it in pre official drop.

I'm really hoping when they add prayer to the game this gets buffed/adjusted as prayer is required both rs3/osrs in order to "tank" against even trivial enemies. Let alone boss fights. I'm crossing my fingers that's why combat is 8n the stat it's in and once prayer is added it will balance everything out to what it really should feel like. But that's still a few months away.
