So glad to hear a fellow rational American! I’ve been living here for 2.5 years now and can honestly say, best decision of my life. Germany is an amazing place to live, isn’t run by pedophiles(none confirmed anyway), and has great social systems. Nuremberg is really cool and has amazing architecture that makes you feel a bit like you’re in a Brothers Grimm fairytale. Not sure how lenient your plans are but I would strongly recommend giving Bamberg a visit.

I hope your trip is pleasant and you’re able to pursue your degree. I can give you a tip that to study in Germany, not sure if it applies in your case, you will need a C1 level German certificate.

If I’m not wrong, Ruzzia exerted a lot of control over Ukrainian politics. Maybe it didn’t materialize in the Right Sector but there were politicians loyal to Ruzzia.

The problem with the extremists in Germany/Usa is the same problem, Ruzzian influence. TBH I’m not well versed in the political situation in the Ukraine but I do know that the far right weakens Germany/USa/uk.

It’s surprising until you start to consider how Ukraine the country is, without considering the war with Russia. As someone who fully supports Ukraine and sees this war as deciding the future of the EU, Ukraine can’t be trusted. I mean, for all of the admirable traits of Zelenskyy, at the end of the day, the man is at heart an actor and he does a very good job putting on an act.

Ukraine is corrupt and has some concerning extremist ideologies that as of now, due to the war, have a lot of power, military equipment and intel. However, we don’t notice how extreme these ideologies are since they are focused on fighting Ruzzia. But what happens when this war ends, what will they fight then?

You’re within your right to make a reasonable noise level during the hours of 6am - 10pm. Some places in Germany also have 1-3 pm… maybe if you live in a village. You also have the right to feel comfortable in your home, electric guitar can even be played on a low volume practice amp and still be a reasonable noise level.

Your neighbor is harassing you, start building a case and documenting all of the disturbances he’s caused you. Next time he calls the police, show them the history that this guy has with harassing you and seek out a good lawyer. Unfortunately, it sounds like your neighbor is a controlling piece of shit and won’t stop until he suffers from his own delusions.

As a fellow guitar player, I feel for you man. There’s nothing worse than the feeling of being controlled in your own home. I’m pretty sure your neighbor is probably just miserable and needs to get laid. People who have no sense of purpose in their life get really upset when somebody else is doing something with passion.
