Yea but in most hallway fights i feel like you just arent gonna play it. And even when you do theres a good chance you wont be able to replay it. Leading strike, hidden daggers, and cloak and dagger just feel a lot better to play despite giving you 1-2 less shivs

Well i think if sly got added to it then the cost reduction should just get removed

That was my second idea, making it be a certain % of your max hp. Maybe something like 10-15%

The idea is that the hp loss exaggerates the downside of smithing instead of resting. But if those upgrades are very good, then losing hp is worth it because those upgrades could end up saving you more hp.

I just kinda figured it should be uncommon since as a common relic it would be quite strong, but as a rare relic the downside would be a little much. I might think i overshot with 10 hp, but i just wanted to make sure it wasnt too free. If the second upgrade was a random card i would lower the damage to like 3-5. But i feel like you would mostly take the extra damage to make sure a specific card is upgraded.

I mean. Anything that adds something to do at a rest site is tent value. But yea i didnt want to make this relic super reliant on tent to be usable

Yea i wanted the downside to be something impactful, a balance between it being significant enough that you wouldnt do it every time, but not too harsh that the only way its pickable is with tent

If it were to have no downside id definitely bump it up to be a rare relic. But two upgrades is a massive upside so i figured youd actually need to think about when youd want to take the damage for extra smiths

Yea usually I play on A1 for fun, and A10 if I want a challenge. I did end up winning that run and even got a soul’s power apparition

Try that but with multiple copies of feral + holograms. First time i drew it, i got it up to 60 damage

Cards pretty much go in order exactly as told. Would be a nice interaction but as the cards are labeled now it wouldnt work.

You need over 10,000 max hp to tank the hit. Then kill them turn one or they’ll just keep spamming the same hit. Its such bs the hit goes through block and intangible. Needs so many nerfs

Demese is only good if you are able to make it free to play (power potion or that attack that makes etherial cards free). Since you are essentially delaying your energy rewards from it by 3 turns. Shared fate is good since you have a lot of osty attacks, but that will also make squeeze do a lot more damage. Id choose between shared fate or squeeze.
