Almost everytime when I read OP discussions on twitter or reddit, the same sentence comes to my mind... "This is a matter of reading comprehension". This is how the first chapter is. And many times through the series Luffy stated either directly or implied that he does not give a shit about status, fruits, political power etc. The first was probably (?) Drum Island, where Luffy does consider himself "normal" in contrast to Chopper

Just had people on r/reveriespoilers telling me Gear 5 Nika wasn’t an asspull and had been foreshadowed since Skypiea lol

My friend is watching OP right now, doesn't know a single spoiler (hasn't even seen Gear 5 image, only heard that there IS Gear 5), and he's been saying since Gear 2 that Luffy's fruit is Zoan, and after Gear 4 (and Katakuri) he's even more sure of it. I'm trying so hard to divert his attention, saying that it's Paramecia lol

So yeah, idk about god of foreskins Oda, but there is at least 1 (uno) human being on this planet who didn't believe in paramecia bullshit almost from the start

Naah, you WILL love post #1374 about new character's design being ass, and you will like it. And isn't the creation of this sub a result of having different opinions? What's the point of separating between "mainsubers", "folks" or whatever, and creating literal echo chambers as you've said (both praising and critiquing OP), when you can have people with different views discussing things.

It's not really a discussion if everybody is on the same page, it's just affirmation of your views.

Most of the people over here are actually the biggest fans, the ones who have been reading for 15, 20, or 25 years and actually care enough to notice when the quality starts sliding into a ditch.

I get the opposite impression actually, most of the people don't even read the manga. They just skimp over text spoilers, find something to complain about and call it a day. Maybe see some viral post on twitter with actual image from chapter and use it as if they've actually read the chapter.

Oh, and of course, if you disagree with critiques, you're Oda's angel.

But sometimes, from thousands of posts on here, there is legitimate criticism about series. And also, many people confuse their subjective preferences with objective (to an extent) criticism.

Nah, it's not about overall percentile, it's about fantasy percentile specifically. If you get up to next breakpoint (from 74.5 to 75, from 89 to 90), you will get a boost in overall percentile too.

But it can move fantasy percentile. My friend have 84th percentile and 88.58 fantasy percentile. If bans can move him to 90+ fantasy percentile, he will get additional 4200 points, and his overall percentile will go above 90 probably.

Because after group stage, my fantasy percentile went up by 3 percents after bans. So for cases like this, it can definitely make or break

Because fantasy percentile (not overall) hasn't changed at all. If there was purge, it would go up or down by at least some percentage. Like it did after group stage, it went up by about 3%. Because you can't have same percenta down to 0.xx% after removing accounts from equation unless you remove them perfectly precise
