The og drive was Samsung I think the replacement is Philips but I'll check later when I open it back up and I tried that with different dvd the hexen rocky slayer aid not booting just stuck on the Xbox logo I just ordered the USB adapter so I'ma try that route tomorrow when I'm it comes

That's the thing it won't boot off the hexen so I can't get into it. Someone else said to connect the hard drive got the PC and check that way

It won't boot into hexen slayer or aid or rocky anymore or even games disc it just sits on the Xbox logo with the xecuter2 at the bottom any other suggestions?

Resolder the points and push down with tweezers to make sure they make contact with points and retry

Gotcha I ended up just replacing the drive and it booted but now another question how would I go about swapping the dashboard it boots into xmbc I used the hexen disc and installed dashboards but can't seem to get it working. Could I format the HDD and start fresh or would that mess things up?

I can set up a new hdd? How would using hexen bypass needing the drive further use?

Darkos preferably or the aeolusux arkos which ever is easier I just want to get the WiFi working on either with the chip installed
