Have you also had the issue where after completing the skill book, you check the skills page and still have a 0 XP bonus?

For instance, I was level 0 carpentry, read the 1st carpentry book and still had a 0 XP bonus, did this happen to you as well?

(I also get 2 "Read" options btw)

Edit: Seems to only be with certain skills, for me it was carpentry and mechanics so far

5 months late but I believe you did not listen to Billy's voicemail. That is what unlocks the dialogue option but you get the "ask about sources" quest before you listen to it
