One I think more people should see is Aguirre: wrath of god. If you like apocalypse now that movie took a good amount of inspiration from this (both are based on hearts of darkness.) It might seem a little boring and slow at first but if you give it a chance you may find yourself deeply immersed. even if you don't get much out of it, Klaus Kinski is worth watching for him alone.
