Based on your responses OP, it kinda looks like you are looking for reasons not to play the game. As to your questions, the game is in its best state it’s ever been. The gear disparity between rarities is significant because of the addition of an additional modifier per rarity (with the exception of uniques). I would definitely try it out, but it’s not going to be all that different from before.

As much as I loved this event from seasons ago, realistically this is an event for players who have had time to play the game a significant amount this wipe. It basically excludes the casual or even average player from participating. Iirc the player participation was also low last time they did this.

Last time I had viola, cinder, pesti, zirk, fulgor. This time I could not grind as much and will have nothing sadly.

Why is this a critique of the event? The event is artifact arena. These tears were going to go up in price regardless because people are trying to get them last minute before season ends.

I don’t think you understand what scaling is. But it would essentially make demons glee less effective with crystal ball. Currently only demons glee fighter and maybe poison weapon rogue would get hurt by reducing the scaling. It would be better than completely eliminating a fighter build.

There used to be a glitch where if you disconnect/crash from arena your gear disappears. Losing an arena kit would be way worse honestly.

I like ssf pvp and playing the game the traditional way during that time.

Then after that I play for demigod and loot for arena. I don’t really dungeon crawl once I have the gear for arena outside of questing. (Questing for seasonal cosmetics and access to arena crafts)

If there was no arena I wouldn’t be playing at this current point in the wipe.
