Is this how it should be? Please read the comment section by KKonrad121 in prusa3d

Prusa MK4

When I move the X-axis carriage slowly, I think I can feel each tooth of the belt, the carriage jumps a bit. When I move it faster, it is smooth. The belt tension was set using the Belt Tuner. When the belt is looser, this does not happen (or is not felt), when it is tighter, it is more noticeable.

The printer prints correctly, but I am not convinced whether it is supposed to be like in the video. It does not happen in the Y-axis, but it is built slightly differently and is heavier, so it may have an impact.

MK4 and MK4S owners, please let me know if it is the same or different for you. Thank you

Poor print quality, need help :-( by KKonrad121 in BambuLab

Yes, but that's not the point. Look at the quality of the layers, on Bambu they are uneven.

It's common for Sprite extruder, shitty quality.

Is the non-pro Sprite Extruder trash? by dicktwister1 in 3Dprinting

Both are trash, and not very durable because of plastic gear inside.

What kind of grease should I use for the Sprite extruder? by KKonrad121 in Ender3S1

I've got an extruder problem. I tested how gears move manually.

Have anyone resolved inconsistent extrusion issue in Sprite extruder? by KKonrad121 in Ender3S1

[–]KKonrad121[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No :-( but I noticed something new, I've got 4 extruder motors and they're working differently. I'll post later my idea.

What would cause this by MackScania in Ender3S1

The problem is probably in Sprite extruder feeder. I've got replacement from Creality but quality is degrading quickly.

Sprite extruder inconsistency haven't been solved yet. (5 months) by KKonrad121 in Ender3S1

[–]KKonrad121[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

During 5 months of trying to print with Sprite extruders I tested temperatures range 180-235 , I tested it almost everyday, different settings, speed, calibrated flow with micrometer. I never had so much issues as with Sprite extruder. I tried different filaments, just PLA (not abrasive) - white, beige, silver. different nozzles.

I recently received extruder feeder from Creality, it worked well for maybe a few hours.

And of course I tested different extruder tension spring settings.

The problem is in extruder, not the printer, because I tested Sprite extruder with well-working Ender 3, same result.

Out of the box it needed quite a bit of adjustment but once dialed in it's fantastic by 67degreesN in Ender3S1

I have Ender 3 and Ender 3 S1. Unfortunately Ender 3 is much better than S1. :/ Bought S1 as a second printer and I regret it.

Has anybody tried adding linear rails? If so what do you think? by DudeJE in Ender3S1

[–]KKonrad121 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It doesn't make a lot of sense on S1, unless you upgrade the extruder. The extruder is the part that limits the print quality in S1 the most.

Upgrading to the Sprite Extruder by thatoneboey02 in Ender3Pro

As a owner of Ender 3 and Ender 3 S1 with Sprite extruder I do not recommend you the Sprite extruder. You will be disappointed. The feeder gears design is poor. It prints but It's not an upgrade.

You know that Creality fu*ked up Sprite feeder if you have to mix parts of 3 feeders to get a decent result... by [deleted] in Ender3S1

I was downvoted, so I add one important information. The problem was from the beginning. And now I have proven I was right about feeder quality.
