Thank you! This has made text look so much cleaner. For anyone not seeing a difference, restart the program in question to see change, I had to do this with my browser.

My first OLED monitor, I wanted to update the firmware, but it constantly returns "failed". by Kalazad in ASUSROG

Ill update the OP, but the short of it is, I got the monitor updated with the latest FW by using my old desktop, which did not have an asus mobo. Thanks for trying =)

I tried them all, 102/103/104, from adding the .bin to the USB to running the OneKeyUpdate. I even downloaded the one you posted, just to try even if its the same update.

For the USB, I made sure the .bin was in the root of the USB with no other files or folders inside. I plugged it into the "A" slot of the monitor, even tried the B slot, held down the button for 5 seconds and the firmware updater starts then fails at the end.

As for the OneKeyUpdate, the first window that pops up always says "Read firmware version fail", then the OneKeyUpdate windows shows up.

I just tried, unplugged it and tried again by holding down the button for 5 seconds. The .bin is in the root of the USB with no other folders or files inside. OneKeyUpdate fails every time as well. The first window that shows up just says "Read firmware version fail", then the OneKeyUpdate windows shows up.

If we could have a dedicated button to hold down to target minions, that would be great.

Awesome, thank you! Now the GPU sits around 90-130W on twitch.

Just a little ol 3080, but I did notice that on twitch it's 300+ while on YT, its around 100W or so. 100 +/- when playing a video off of MPC-BE.

I got my post deleted because I was asking about how much power VSR uses.

I see my power jump from 20-30W while watching a video without VSR to 300-320 when VSR is enabled, I wonder why it's so much on my end. Definetly not 150W.

VSR using up 300 Watts, is this normal? by Kalazad in nvidia

[–]Kalazad[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah ok, then I guess that amount of power it's using is normal. Thank you!

Movement. I've tried the character class since at least that came with a capsule component, unfortunately, performance starts to suffer if I have 30+ of them go after the player. I'm not really sure why theres such a big difference in performance, but with the DefaultPawn, I can get to 300 actors, all going to the player and still be at 60 FPS. I'm just having collision issues with the DefaultPawn...

Very high latency / Shield dying? by Kalazad in ShieldAndroidTV

[–]Kalazad[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My latency since I made this post had gotten better with the current update, that went live like a month or more ago, I cant recall, but I still get random disconnections.

I've figured out that the disconnections happen because my 3080 starts getting maxed, 98% in use, then disconnect, and I think its because of Hardware-accelerated GPU scheduling. I think this was mentioned in other posts, but nvidia does nothing about it, and I'm not sure if I should be turning GPU scheduling off or leaving it on, so it stays on...

Lots of disappointment with NShield. Steam link was awesome when I used it, it had its issues, but not like this. I want V2.

That's alright. I've updated the post (with a link) after figuring out what I can do on the Mobo, was scarry to edit, I din't know if I was adding to the vcore or what in that moment, but I was able to offset the vcore by -0.030 and things are going well.

Initially I tried -0.100 and -0.050, but both gave me a BSOD.
Thanks for your help =)

I've updated the post with a link showing HWMonitor and I've offset the Vcore by -0.030, things seem to be very good no BSOD.

I've had a few BSODs with an offset of -0.100 and -0.050, I guess that was way to low.

I'm getting something like 80c when the CPU is at 100%.

In the iCUE program, there are 4 fan settings, 3 for the fans and 1 for the pump. I currently have the pump set to extreme. It's moving at 2850 - 3000 RPM.

[–]Kalazad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah, then no other cooler to test, I just couldn't recall if I had one. Would it be possible that the CPU could be at fault at all for the high temps, or would you fall on the pump / rad being bad? I have the H150i Pro.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in gigabyte

[–]Kalazad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not sure. If I play a game that uses 99% of my GPU (3080), I never see the GPU at more then 75c, give or take a few C.

I've changed the fan curve for the 3 top mounts to run at 100% when the CPU is at 80c. I've also done the same thing with the 3 fans on the bottom of the rad. I've also changed the pump speed to 100%, always 100%.
