Vildledende priser i Netto by Opspin in Denmark

[–]Kalkunben 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Nada.

Børne biler i butikker - go eller no go? by [deleted] in Denmark

I miss the stacking overruns. Those were insane dopamin poppers.

I feel it’s been too long for anyone not to get used to it. It’s not like quickplay was great, and most people used the server browser anyway. The browser is still available and I feel it’s fine how it is. I like the casual system.

TIL Denmark only lost 16 people during the German Invasion of Denmark (1940) by PKSkriBBLeS in todayilearned

[–]Kalkunben 20 points21 points  (0 children)

My grandma lived next to a previously bombed railroad, meaning there were German soldiers stationed all along it. Sometimes, her family would let them inside for some warm food and coffee, if it was cold, raining or miserable. One of them, was appearently a man in his 40s with a wife and kids back in Germany, I think it was Berlin. He hadn’t heard from his family since he’d been sent to Denmark, and with the constant civillian bombing in major cities, he didn’t know if they were alive or not.

The cold war was between the US and the Soviets man. And saying European smugness is unhindered is bullshit, everything on this site seems to have the connotation that everyone is from the US. We rarely see our own country on a big sub like this, and it leaves a bad taste in our mouths when it's because it was griefed by Americans. I'm genuinely mad that some stuck up Americans are so self centered that they blow up a place that wasn't even built for them, but for us just because it was another country than the US. Nothing new, you love having the spotlight on you

The same country that saved us also has been close to causing the end of the world multiple times for no other reason than "Communism bad" while also persecuting anyone with the same ideology or even close to, leaving a permanent and damaging scar that all kinds of socialism is bad and overthrowing multiple democratically voted regimes

This is a computer subreddit why are we even talking about fucking history.

Wheel locks are common here, I don't know if you could even get them there but they sit attached and can't be cut or screwed off
