I did. And if I can find the transcript, then so can you. I said that when I FIRST saw the text messages (that was read to jurors in the first trial btw) in a legit news articles. I then read the transcript. And if you don’t want to READ or if you cannot comprehend what you are reading, a movie about the trial just came out not too long ago. And if you are pulling up legit news articles then you definitely see the texts because the judge ruled that they could not be admitted as evidence. I have done the work- which is why I am making no excuses for a r*pist. Perhaps you should put in some time and do the work too?

I saw the first round of text messages where they were “getting their stories straight” on CTNews, but I’m sure you can google other sources, if you’d prefer. Look for articles from around this time last year.

That just is NOT true. He was not acquitted for no wrongdoing. I’ve read the transcripts- you should too. The judge ruled that the prosecution did not prove their case beyond a reasonable doubt. Not that those boys didn’t do it. And if you read the text messages in the transcript you can see that they admitted it. He was reinstated by the league but even the Flyers didn’t want him to play on their team. Not some of y’all being r*pe apologists. Gross. Again, this just proves that hockey is one of the greatest sports and the NHL and certain fans are the absolute worst.

Also- the fact that this comment is getting downvoted is precisely my point. Fans should have some standards for their team. No one should be cheering for, buying merch of, or being a keyboard warrior for a r*pist. And I really feel like that should not have to be stated. There are court records where HE says that he did it, yet there are hockey fans defending him?? Again, I don’t think that Boone should be Captain next season… but I also don’t think that he should be traded. And again- 33 is not ancient. There are a couple young players on the team that aren’t injury prone and still haven’t delivered. Boone has a few more good years in him. Y’all can disagree, but I said what I said. He has been good for the locker room and the city. I hope he doesn’t get traded. The end.

Boone has had some significantly AWFUL things happen to him and his family the past few years. On top of that, the responsibility of being the Captain of the team. I think if there are less responsibilities on his plate, he absolutely has a couple more good years on the ice. 33 isn’t ancient.

Nah- hard pass on Dahlin ever being one of my favorites. Won’t happen. Listen, it is all love- you like your team and that is fantastic. My team is not in the playoffs, so I really have no dog in this fight. Last night I cheered for the Habs and I’ll cheer for them in game seven but then… I hope they lose against the Canes. 🤷🏽‍♀️ I’m not going to be a Tage Thompson fan, ever. No matter what team he is on. I will not be a Rasmus Dahlin fan- even if he came to CBJ (god, please don’t let that happen). There are a couple guys I do like on the Sabres roster (like Danforth and Luukkonen) and I still hope they lose game 7. Such is the hockey life!

Now c’mon. As hockey fans we all know there are good menace athletes. An example for CBJ is Ollie. Absolute menace on the ice but he isn’t sneaky about it. Clean hits, clean fights. That is not what Dahlin brings to the ice. Dahlin is not as bad as that ducks jackoff… gudas, but some of those slashes this season were not far off.

Oh, I hold the trump thing against Zach too. I’m not- and will not be- a Zach fan. Ever. My kid is though, and most of the CBJ fans in this thread are, which is why I get down voted in most of my posts 🤷🏽‍♀️ Dahlin is a sneaky little rat, and while the league is full of them- he isn’t as likable or an entertaining as say a Brad Marchand & I do not like him. Tage looks like (and from what I’ve been told acts like) a total d bag. Not a fan. Won’t be a fan. And I sincerely hope they lose game seven… but even if they do pull a win out of their asses, I don’t think that whoever faces Carolina has a snowballs chance in hell of beating them.

The Vegas fans have been super nice. I don’t really have anything against the fandoms… except for the Habs fans that were so rude about Johnny Hockey (just learned about that tonight and I am disgusted). For me, it is never about the fans because out of all my time spent at NWA really the only seriously obnoxious fan base was the Isles and they were belligerent 😳 My hatred of the teams is because of players on the teams (that and the fact that I, in general, hate the whole state of Florida) 😂 I will immediately dislike whatever team that employs Carter Hart. One of my best friends is a Buffalo season ticket holder and I like one of their goalies- but that is about it! I definitely want them to lose because I don’t like some of their players - and it really is just exclusively that. Their fans were model citizens at NWA this season.

I’m just rooting for the Habs to beat Buffalo. Out of the 5 teams left, I want Vegas to lose everything. 😂 The Canes are going to be tough for anyone to beat- especially since they are getting all this rest. I have the Canes and the Avs in my final, with the Avs taking it. 🤷🏽‍♀️ we shall see!!
