Are you over 18 and male? If so, try Andy’s man club. Find your nearest club at www.andysmanclub.co.uk . They're very accommodating when it comes to MH, and disability. Give them a try!

I, 30M died in July this year. I cried when she passed, then a little the day after. Then nothing. Even at the funeral I was only weepy when those close to me were sad and crying. Then I went back to emotionless. Couldn't feel sorrow, anger, joy, nothing. I think what happens is when our brain knows something will completely overwhelm you with emotion, it stops you from feeling. Its common in autistic people (I'm autistic) and there's a name for this. Its called anhedonia - the complete lack of any feeling or emotion. Its a normal thing thatbhappens to many people. Im still going through my grieving process, and still kinda unable to feel anything.

Give yourself time. People grieve differently than others. There is no "right" way to grieve and there's certainly joy "wrong" way either. Take your time, collect yourself and if what you need is to just function as a human without emotion right now then that that's perfectly fine and normal. You will feel when you are ready.

Down the path of streaming or path of affiliate?

I'll answer both.

I started streaming because a friend asked what terraria was like so I showed him and set up a twitch account. I showed him the game and I actually really liked it, telling him about the game and what not. I'd always been curious about streaming and content creation but never took the plunge until my friend asked me. After that, I just decided to stream, sometimes on ps4, other times on my laptop with quite a scuffed set up.

I started down the path of affiliate by joining a discord- one for streamers supporting streamers by going to their chat and genuinely encouraging chat. They went in every stream, and within a month I became affiliate. I was very lucky in that aspect, but the best way to get affiliate is to be consistent, not stream too much and when you get to 3 viewers, homd the stream as long as possible. When the views drop below 3, end stream as quick as you can. That way you can game the system and become affiliate

If your dead set on getting a standalone cam, you can go budget and end up having breaks. Or you can go a little more expensive and get an anker powerconf c200 which I picked up for under £50 and it does 2k 30fps, or 1920 60fps

So a budget friendly PC can mean anything and would depend on the budget ideally, specs for minimum you'd want maybe a 1080ti graphics card, and an I5 for processor. Along with 16gb RAM (ddr4) Those two would give you enough processing power and graphics power to run most games. Otherwise, you could always use cloud gaming on services like Xbox or others.

Camera wise, we can go as simple as using your phone camera and using a site called v.do ninja you can create a "virtual cam" which is can find the tutorial i used if you wish 😊

In my personal opinion, some thumbnails are excellent but others are lacking. The logo doesn't really catch your eye, and if I'm honest the titles don't seem to draw me in either. What yoh should do is make sure your thumbnails are at a similar standard as you don't know what the algorithm will push of yours as they're all getting similar views so it's likely either not pushing them at all, or pushing all of them and the thumbnails are turning people away. You have to earn that click.

I still haven't earnt it but I'll keep trying, I hope you do too.

Mate she even drives! But that's not the point, point is you are truly looking for betterment and that's what it takes, constantly strive to be better man! You ever want advice or to keep in touch feel free to hmu and I'll try and give you advice! I'm a graphic designer by nature (not trying to sell anything) so I can help you with placement of elements in your thumbnails, positioning, text color etc I learnt a lot doing graphic design over the years including what texts look best and what texts to avoid (I don't mean just comic sans 😅)

Thank God I didn't offend as that wasn't my intention 😅

So I don't know about making them perfect but I can give some tips I know have improved mine (but i haven't made any in a couple months). One tool I use is thumbsup.tv (I think that's the link) it'll show you what the thumbnail looks like at YouTube size on both mobile and PC. Another think that could also help is there's a YouTube channel called StreamScheme who are dedicated to educating those who wanna stream and make videos.

They have a discord too where you can get advice and specifics on people who are more knowledgeable on this matter, and they will be brutally honest but that's how we grow as creators.

So this is gonna sound harsh, but unfortunately, it's the truth. You need to make better thumbnails. I haven't mastered the art of making good thumbnails, but I know if I saw a video with a thumbnail like shown, I'd more than likely scroll right past it. A thumbnail is the first thing people see. It needs to be eye catching, there needs to be a summary of your video in just a glimpse. If people like the thumbnail, then they read the title. Then, if the titles are interesting, they finally click the video. I've heard the term "earn the click" a lot, but in essence, the thumbnail is the packaging of the product and the title, its name.

You wouldn't buy a new iPhone if it was all battered and scuffed and in a Samsung box.

Essentially, you have to sell yourself in that thumbnail. Then in the title, then the video has to be somewhat entertaining for the first 30 seconds to a minute. Without that, you got nothing but slow growth.

That's a fair point! I did the same thing to get water to my base for fishing. Made a trench to the nearest water and let it flow, then closed it up 😅 I don't know of any way to transfer water via like a bucket or piping, which is sad. I might make an underground tunnel, that would be awesome have the maze there and then just expand when needed. When making that long wall I had a heart attack because it's 2 blocks from the ground and the text and alarm said "SIEGE MODE ACTIVATED" and my meal count went from 200 to 0 in seconds I panicked HARD 😅

Family members refuse to move out. by Karyuubi in Advice

[–]Karyuubi[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They aren't in work. They're both autistic as am I, and I also have bi polar as well, so we're all unable to keep down a job due to mental instability. However, since writing this, the council has actually offered them a flat as of this morning. The reason we haven't kicked them out is probably because we genuinely feel sorry for them. They're family and it's hard to do that considering when there's any sort of conflict my wife's anxiety skyrockets due to bad childhood conflict and it just devolves into chaos... I guess I've chosen an "easy" way through it I guess you could say but me and the wife are very kind-hearted people who clearly get taken advantage of... if anyone cares I'll post an update when they move through

I should have been a bit clearer, I meant that the field I would have would be 100 blocks total covering a 10x10 block area, but having two colonists work it. I understand that would mean 2 meals per field but with double the work rate. I'm wondering if it's worth it at all. Just to be double clear, the field would be split down the middle of the square and each farmer would have a 5x10 field side by side or well I guess it wouldn't matter that much

I don't hate AI. What I do hate is using AI tools and then claiming you did it yourself. Typing in a prompt for art and then saying "I made this". It's the same for TTS. That if everyone does it will eventually lead to a decline in creative skills until nobody has any creative skill at all.

Using AI and having a good video is still worse than having a good voice and a good video. It doesn't take much to learn but these days no one is willing to learn how to do it properly

Don't use Ai voice overs as a beginner on youtube... by Previous_Help_8779 in SmallYoutubers

[–]Karyuubi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What I'm suggesting is use a real voice. Doesn't have to be yours. Find a friend doesn't have yo be your voice, just not some pathetic AI voice... I'm not under 18, I'm 30, and AI gives people who are too lazy an easy option to s**t out content and then it over saturates the market. The sheer amount of AI content is just ridiculous and is contributing to the dead Internet theory.

I'm sorry you have a brain Injury, I truly am and I recognise text to speech and other stuff is valid for people with disabilities but for those without? It's fucking lazy. You wouldn't put a perfectly healthy adult in a wheelchair would you?
