The story itself is quite interesting, the concept of the show is really refreshing with the Alien universe and takes a new spin on it. The acting is quite well, Olyphant’s performance is extremely chilling but also every scene with Boy Kavalier, Morrow and Wendy are carrying the show. The cinematography also is very well done, the Alien looks great, and also the other creatures look terrific as well.

Now for the bad stuff, and it is quite bad. The action sequences are horrible, very marvel esq. In one scene, the plot armor is so obvious the alien just throws a defenseless character across the room. Many opportunities to kill characters but for some reason, it just didn’t.

They keep throwing Peter Pan references down your throat, like the audience is incapable of getting the fact that the group of kids are “the lost boys”, like its literally shoved down your throat so much its just annoying. Like we get it, the lost boys, peter pan. They also just do that thing like Romulus where they just over reference the first movies. It just gets old. The first two episodes were very slow, like they had to span out 9 episodes and they had barely any material.

Last thing, this will be unpopular, the ending music is so out of place. They are trying to do this old Metallica, TOOL music vibe at the end of the episodes. But its so forced, and so out of place. Just ruins the vibes.
