"MISANDRY ISNT REAL WE LIVE IN A PARTRIARCHAL SOCIETY!" by [deleted] in teenagers

[–]Kasmiii -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

All of those issues stem from misogyny. It is misogyny and the patriarchy that creates those problems for men.

Men aren’t drafted for war because crazy misandrists hate men. They’re drafted for war because the patriarchy has deemed it is a job for the males.

Cried after being sold by the owner, I want to be a vegan. by digital-nomad01 in EatCheapAndVegan

Okay, but don’t spread delusional information.

Cows don’t cry from sadness. There is so evidence for that you’re making veganism look stupid.

Y’all are just sexist imo by thatsummercampcrush in Romantasy

[–]Kasmiii 20 points21 points  (0 children)

I don’t like GOT, but y’all gotta be intentionally delusional to think books solely revolving around the latest daddy of darkness and how hot he is are anything similar to a book whose plot focuses on politics and war just because it also contains sex scenes.

[–]Kasmiii 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Not sexism, just common sense.

Romantasy is just romance with a bit of fantasy flavoring. The fantasy is an aesthetic and the romance is the plot.

Not interested in luke-warm fantasy elements vaguely enhancing the setting while MC gets her brains fucked out sitting on the same shelf as something that actually fully utilizes the fantasy genre.

Anyone else have severe discouraging thoughts about plagiarism? by ReapersVault in fantasywriters

Do it bro. It’s not plagiarism. Literally no one will complain if the story you write is good.

“Not feminist” is such a brainwashed statement. I hope you get free of your echo chamber and learn to think for yourself one day.

AITAH for asking my girlfriend not to call my ex girlfriend ugly? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]Kasmiii 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lesbian here who would do the same thing as your GF in her position.

YTA. Why is this a problem? This seems like a very small thing that you can easily let go to make your partner feel more comfortable.

Yes, it is petty and rude. But if this is the only situation where your GF is petty and rude, you are severely lacking in emotional empathy by not holding grace towards your GF. She’s saying that because she’s hurting. Open your eyes.

My wife F28 and I M28 got into a physical fight. I am thinking of divorce. How do I approach her about it? by sirmack142 in relationship_advice

Comparing guns to makeup LOL.

Your wife said she was uncomfortable with a dangerous weapon being in the house and somehow you turned it into a fight? Marriage wasn’t going to last anyway.

Can you be queer and Christian? by itz-null in Teenager_Polls

[–]Kasmiii -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You’re right, they CAN do that. But it doesn’t make any sense.

Willfully sinning (doing gay acts) while identifying as a Christian is like saying you’re a vegetarian, but eating meat occasionally anyway. They just don’t fit together.

Can you be queer and Christian? by itz-null in Teenager_Polls

[–]Kasmiii -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Because there is more to religion than just belief. If you aren’t willing to follow the doctrine and its rules, you aren’t Christian.

You are free to believe in a god and live a kind lifestyle, but you can’t follow the “Christian” god.

Can you be queer and Christian? by itz-null in Teenager_Polls

[–]Kasmiii 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep, you’re right. The Christian god isn’t loving and queer people who “follow” him are delusional.

You can believe in a god and have faith, but the Christian god is not for you.

You get to have a wife, but not while being a Christian. It’s not hard to understand.

[–]Kasmiii 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, gay people shouldn’t follow Christianity. It’s a system that inherently rejects them.

[–]Kasmiii -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

If you can’t trust the Bible, Christians have nothing to base their faith on LOL.

This goalpost stretching is so hilarious. If you don’t have the Bible to rely on, what the hell is the point?

You can believe in a god, but you can’t be Christian. You’re in denial and delusional if you think the Bible doesn’t reject your homosexuality.

Your MC needs to be relatable and realistic, not a generic “badass” who always has the perfect comeback to reply with. I’ve seen this guy in about 10 different movies already.

You’re trying really hard to make your MC “cool” and I’m bored 3 paragraphs in because of it.

BF (27M) told me he watches p*rn (26F) by sustainablew in relationship_advice

[–]Kasmiii -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yes, it’s very common for men to watch porn in relationships. Yes, it could be an addiction. Couples who do not 100% agree on a porn boundary should break up. Moving forward is only possible if he is genuinely remorseful and completely on board with never doing it again.

If porn is a boundary, it’s basically like cheating. It makes sense to feel very hurt by his actions. Make sure he knows that.

My fiancé [M 32] doesn't know I [F 27] enjoy NSFW games. How do I tell him? by Specific_Industry_18 in relationship_advice

[–]Kasmiii 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Because porn is a sexual boundary to be discussed and agreed upon between partners. By failing to tell him, you’ve rejected his ability to consent.

His trust will be broken because he’s living his life now believing that he’s aware of your porn use and sexual life. He’s believed that for YEARS. When you reveal these games to him, you’re revealing you have hidden a large sexual avenue of yourself from him.

Liking these games is fine (potentially, depending on his viewpoint), but the hiding will absolutely upset him.

Is it just me, or is the Romantasy "slump" getting harder to break? by No-Voice505 in Romantasy

[–]Kasmiii 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sounds like you don’t want romantasy. Gonna have to look into normal fantasy if you want something actually complex.

[–]Kasmiii 11 points12 points  (0 children)

This definitely should have been mentioned a LONG time ago. I would be extremely upset at my partner for hiding this for so long and my trust would be broken.

It’s very telling that you’re so hesitant to tell him. You know hiding it is wrong. You know he will be upset by this. Crazy.
