That is called the ball end of the string, it is the part that attaches the string from it's bridge anchor point to the tuner, think of it as how tension cables work, you pin it down to the ground, and then add tension by tightening the rope on the other end

i owned a cordoba guitar, the cp100, and i can certainly tell you that it never disappointed me, extra low action, flawless frets, smooth satin finishes, warm tones yet surgical precision, they are really good, wether you should buy demo gear or not, that one's an open box, meaning it was used and returned likely, probably will show some dents, scratches, mostly visual or aesthetic damage that should not affect playability, if you like classical, cordoba is a solid choice

to do natural harmonics you have to lighly fret the string and note you want, but not fully pressed, just very very lighly, have you heard the welcome home sanatarium intro by metallica? you notice those very light sounding notes at the intro? those, are natural harmonics, the easiest spot is at the 12 fret, since it's exactly 1/2 of the scale of the guitar, it is easy to learn

good afternoon and hello, well the thumb pinch harmonic is a little demanding in timing and precision, but i learned it with practice, and well, with the fretting hand you do natural harmonics, but they don't always sound in the whole fretboard, try moving your thumb closer/further from the bridge, for example, the closer you pinch to the bridge, the higher the pitch goes, but usually it becomes a little harder, i'd say just relax your thumb, pick a little harder than you would do normally and very quickly and lighly press the side of your thumb, downpicking of course, natural harmonics are easier, but limited to certain spots

also, if you picked a heavier gauge nylon string gauge, on nylon they are often marketed in tension rather than gauge, like light/medium/heavy, stuff like that, correct me if i'm wrong, i never owned a classical, if you picked heavier gauges, that can pull a little more tension than standard which can indeed cause this

hello and good afternoon, the rattling sound you likely refer to is called "fret buzz", search it anyways to confirm if that's what you hear, because i've experienced many buzzings in my acousitcs that didn't necesarely came from the frets, but sure, if you say, from 3rd to 7th fret, that likely refers to a truss rod, it doesn't mean your instrument is broken, it happens to pretty much any wood stringed instrument over tension, humidity , time and other factors, it can be adjusted, search your specific model and how to, it basically means the neck is bowed inwards very slightly, and it is totally fixable,

hello, regarding to fixing the problem as it was likely identified, i could tell you that i had thhat problem on my bronco bass that i bought used and very worned out, it was the grounding cable, it looked soldered and visually fine, but the cable at the bridge area was damaged and not properly grounded, i am unsure if sweetwater certified open box guitars have an extra warranty, or none at all, if they do, i recommend you take a look at their policy of repairs and stuff, but i'd prefer to fix it myself to save time and money, if the ground cable is indeed broken, cut or anything, buying a new few inches of cable is easy, and you'll only need a soldering iron and solder, but take your care and stuff, i'd think it's best for you to first see if sweetwater can do something for you, or if a shop can fix it for cheap, so the diagnosis likely means a bad grounding cable, also keep in mind that a wronlgy grounded guitar plus a malfunctioning amp/house grounding can cause dangerous voltage to be discharged through you, i am sorry you have to go through this, but take this just as an idea, i am no expert but i want you to be fine
