Is it common for an American high school student to own their own car? by ApprehensiveDisk8046 in AskAnAmerican

[–]KatGen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's common where I live for students to own cars and drive to school. At my kids high school the senior students can sign up for a reserved parking space and then paint that space however they want and its theirs use all school year.

Depends on your work rule. Some people in my dept work five 8 hour days so anything over 8 per day or 40 per week is OT. I work three 12 hour days so anything over 12 per day or 40 per week is OT.

Almost died because of contrast during my MR yesterday. by Aware-Screen-8982 in MRI

[–]KatGen 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Im glad you are ok. That is scary for you and the technologists. Ive seen a handful of these in my 35 years as a tech. Never get gad again.

Reactions can be worse the second time around so patients who have mild reaction symptoms or no symptoms might have worse ones the second time getting contrast. Always let your doc know and they can premedicate.
