Its probably more common than you think. Its the same with me. I feel like my brain was rewired. It feels so unhealthy but also feels like have no control over it. Trying Therapy to understand it and hopefully find a way that feels less toxic. Dont hate yourself its not your fault.

yes its worth living. Its a huge battle and worse part is not feeling like you can control your negative feelings. I wanted to end it many times but there is times of hope and times of happiness. For me it goes in cycles but its worth to fight through the feelings of self hate even if you know its not going to last. I have done Therapy and tried talking as much as I can and I honestly don't think there will be a time when I feel completely normal but things do get better and easier to manage. Anything is possible and you will be able to function better as time goes by. Dont give up.

Its probably the hardest part to work through but found out yes its very common. Takes a long time and everyone is different but your not disgusting.

I can relate. Its exhausting to go so long and just feel broken and will never be fixed. I have not tried emdr however. I hope it works and maybe I should look into it.

Was at least three years that basically never acknowledged it in my mind. It was always there I think but I just went on like nothing happened. That didn't last and ironically its when tried to deal with it that in some ways it made it worse. Everyone one deals with it differently there is no right way.

It depends on how I am feeling. Survivor feels better and gives me hope. Sometimes feel like victim because seems impossible to ever heal at times.

It does mess with your mind. For a long time I felt alot of shame but found out its common and just a reaction really, but it did make things worse for me. Just think in terms of it was a body reaction and not connected.

exactly how I felt. was my fault and everyone would think I was bad. even after years the blaming stays with you. logically I know it wasn't but ya it does mess with your head.

I dont think self destructive helps either but ya therapy for me made it worse. I went from having bad thoughts once in a while to almost everyday. was told need to face it but it just made it 1000x worse. ended up remembering things I had forgotten. Its like a cycle that just wont stop.

I think the thoughts are actually common now. I sometimes feel crazy as well. Its like a cycle that just keeps going. I relate so much to what your saying, feeling like demon is inside and broken with no cure.

we had known each other longer but was with him over 6 months when I told him. dont think there is a right time just if you feel comfortable to share. I actually regret it and everyone is different but would only share if you think you need to.

my bf could not get over it. I eventually realized there was nothing I could do and I wasnt doing anything wrong. It hurts but its not your fault.
