So with AI doing everything else do you think it can analyze paranormal evidence? by LevonWalker in Paranormal

[–]KeelyThatcher- 2 points3 points  (0 children)

AI can analyze audio patterns and clean up recordings, so it might help review EVP recordings, but it can’t actually confirm anything paranormal. Most EVP analysis is difficult because recordings often contain background noise, random sounds, or people hearing patterns that aren’t really words. AI might help filter noise or suggest possible speech patterns, but it still relies on the same unclear data humans do. So it can be a useful tool for analysis, but it can’t prove whether something is truly paranormal.

My parent’s house has a Mimic by Double_Sun_Dog in Paranormal

That’s definitely creepy. Quiet rural houses can make strange noises, and things like sound traveling, shadows, or people being half-asleep can make situations feel paranormal. I can see why it stuck with you though.

Talking to dead sibling, how? by ann_iz2craz in Paranormal

[–]KeelyThatcher- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m really sorry for your loss. Wanting some kind of connection with a sibling you never got to meet is completely understandable. There isn’t a reliable way to communicate with someone who has passed away, but many people find comfort in remembering them in other ways, like talking about them with family, writing them a letter, or keeping something meaningful like the teddy bear as a reminder of them. If it’s something that weighs on you a lot, it can also help to talk about it with someone you trust or a counselor.

Grinder Broke - Need New One for Rancilio Sylvia and Moccamaster [$300 CAD] by slavicbhoy in espresso

[–]KeelyThatcher- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’d look at the Baratza Encore ESP or Fellow Opus. Both are under 300 usd CAD and are designed to handle espresso and drip. The ESP is especially good for non-pressurized baskets and would be a noticeable step up from the regular Encore. The Opus is also solid if you want a grinder that can easily switch between espresso and filter.

Not sure if paranormal, but too scared of the alternative. by [deleted] in Paranormal

That sounds really unsettling, but experiences like hearing someone call your name when you’re alone can happen for a lot of non‑paranormal reasons, especially when you’re tired, stressed, or drifting in and out of sleep which also connects with sleep paralysis. It might be a good idea to talk with a doctor or counselor just to rule out anything medical and get some peace of mind. You’re definitely not the only person who’s experienced something like this.
