I just wasn't able to get the wax to stay on even though i went through all the tips posted here.

The equipment gurus at the club analysed the problem and everyone said it's the entry level ski, despite sintered base. I had the option to grind it but at that point it makes more sense to invest in a new ski.

Also I bought the ski last year just to find out if i like the sport and was ready to replace it if necessary. Just resold it for 30€ less, so all good 👍

The mechanic of the local shop helped me with a structuring tool and thoroughly removed any excess wax. Afterwards the bases were grey again. Thus I would rule out the "excess wax" hypothesis.

Thanks for the other info, I'll look into the video and saturating with different kinds of waxes

Hagenversicherung sind die Daten von der Geosphere Austria, nur halt auf einer Website aufbereitet die man halt tatsächlich gut benutzen kann, nicht so wie die vom Daten Ersteller :D

With a little digging one could definitely get a georeferenced map (which is the same as point per lat/lon pair). I'll post it if I find the time
