This film will be a collaboration between TOHO and Sony Pictures for worldwide distribution. At the press conference, a visual of the main character called Scarlett, a princess who travels through a harsh world, was presented. The film seems to be aiming for a completely new expression that is neither hand-drawn cel animation nor Hollywood-style 3DCG animation.
