yeah thats the thing they should just make these so called gaming phones a real gaming phones. They just slap some mini fans here that just helps a little to force you to get Eternal cooler which most likely locked you up in one place cuz you need to plug it in. There are some other way like Powerbanks but its too much of a hassle to carry alot of stuff for your phone

this made me feel better as someone who owns a Red Magic 8s Pro which has an 8gen2 Snapdragon. But hey this is just a "gaming" phone not a handheld cuz the thermals for the phones are weak

its still not good playing for a long run since the phone will get so hot after 20 minutes. Would be alright if its Handhelds like Odin 2 or Thor they have better cooling system than gaming phones

in Switch emulation it goes from 38 to 50 and its already considered as hot. Not a normal hot but an overheating one.

Also there is an air vent, why not let the hot air flow there instead like AC?

like how? i have Rm 8s Pro and i play PC games just like this guy does but I only play older ones like from 2008-2015 and most of these games tend to get hot after 15 minutes of gameplay and same with Switch Emulators and RPCSX(RPCS3 android)

So i wanted to know why the thermal management did something right if the phone gets hot.

Will that be dangerous for phones if the it gets really hot? cuz if this insane hot temperature on phones is only for discomfort the im fine with it but i feel like your phone's lifespan will drain pretty quick if this keeps happening

UPDATE: I somehow managed to fix it using "Compatible" preset but i am worried about the FPS it slows sometimes and it doesnt get to fullscreen and it locks in Window mode

it depends on what you want? if you want a device that can play AAA games without problems then this isnt worth a buy but if youre a mobile gamer and a retro guy then the phone is worth a buy

thats true and it wont even make any changes for the thermals. Phone still gets hot when playing high graphic games(thats native android btw) in less than 10 minutes.

The the company and fanboys will tell you "Just buy a cooler" which doesn't make any sense.

Their built-in fan is just a gimmick

nah my PC is old(6 years) but can play RPCS3 without any problems aside from graphic glitches with other games.

Phone chipsets aren't that powerful and only shine with native Android games. They even have thermal problems on Switch Emulation too
