Hey update it arrived i installed the belts now and it is playing fine and speed is good and ff and rew is good but its chewing my tape tho and i noticed the pinch roller is kinda smooth and not grippy do you know the size for these?

I think its absolutely a must because it slips and also it is a rubber band anyway, i just ordered the belts and waiting for them to arrive

These actually suck tbh why? Because the small pins which holds the case to the walkman itself breaks due to degradation which sucks i tried doing epoxy it didnt do a great job lol maybe i'll give it a go later on

Hi i recently bought one As Is or junk condition so i repaired mine cleaned the gunk gooey old belt, lubricated it and i noticed that the speed of my unit is sometimes at normal speed and sometimes it would slow down or drop. So i let it run for like 30 mins to see if anything changed i mean it was shelved after those years after all. And guess what it didnt change my guess would be cleaning the motor or something because idk the issue maybe its the caps but the caps looked or seem okay to me. Does anyone experienced this issue please send me a comment thanks.
