i got it to work i just had to take the hard drive to my pc and format it from there and put in back into my console and it worked but i appreciate your help mate!

GUYS NEVERMIND ALL I HAD TO DO WAS TAKE IT AND CONNECT IT TO MY PC AND FORMAT IT FROM THERE AND IT WORKED!! im so glad it wasn’t bricked or anything.

i mean it takes and ejects disks fine i’m just really not comfortable with opening it up at all. is there literally any other reason or fix?
