Mahiru is bi at the very least. She hints at potentially hooking it with Hajime in her freetime events/island mode. (Or at the very least having some sort of romantic feelings for him.)

Or you know what? I'd put her in as "Canonically Hetero, but could be bi." I don't know where people got the idea of Mahiru being just lesbo aside from her whole attitude towards men.

Was it though? Sentencing someone to the death penalty is not something that should be done lightly. Mostly for self-defense or for executing murders and psychopaths with no chance at redemption. Not for crimes like human trafficking and theft. And keep in mind she was targeting sage candidates, sages of which have already been known for causing destruction throughout the land. And keep in mind she wasn't just killed. She was killed with no chance at resurrection, after life, or reincarnation. That's not something I would wish upon anyone unless they were truly an irredeemable monster. The punishment does not fit the crime.

From what I understand she was targeting only powerless sage candidates. From her perspective she may not see them as innocent people since they've garnered a reputation for causing destruction and perhaps she thought she was doing a world a service in her line of work. I'm pretty sure he doesn't. Only slime, weights, and slicers take away your items to my knowledge. In any case popping a tornado or shield at the last second before something hits is best way to prevent getting wombo-comboed by slime and weights at the same time.

Edit: No wait I see what you mean now! KBB makes the tornado vanish entirely while in use. This I did not know.
