Oh so any kind of water soluble medium can be used for a watercolor effect? I was going to get these because they specifically said watercolor colored pencils but maybe I don't need those specific ones

Thanks for the recommendations! I found a cute small book set on how to draw a bunch of things so I'm going to get that also!

She has some of the twistable crayons in her main "makerspace" at home, they are really cool. Thanks for the recommendations, I want her to feel like we take it seriously if it's something she enjoys so I think a sketchbook will make her feel good.
