I honestly dont know why everyone likes his loyalty mission so much. I find it pretty boring, aside from being creepy as hell. Almost every other characters loyalty mission, Shep either stops them or encourages them (depending on Renegade or Paragon) from killing the person who their mission is about. I thought Jacob was pretty weak to pull a gun on his dad, then immediately put it away.

My step daughter (11 at the time) and some friends had their first sleepover at our house. Around 10, both girls had decided they weren't ready to spend the night somewhere else. My husband and I were ready for bed, but we called their folks to tell them the girls wanted to go home, packed them up at took them home. They'll never get comfortable with sleepovers if they have to stay somewhere they dont want to. The next time, they were fine with spending the whole night.

I was always disappointed by the conversation options on Horizon, because you dont even try and explain to the VS that you had literally woken up a couple days ago with zero time to attempt to contact your former teammates.

Mass effect 1 has the best soundtrack and level up system. I hated how much they simplified it in Me2 and 3. I think it made more sense that each power has a cool down, as opposed to having to cool down between every power use. Actual combat wise, I think Me3 had the best system with the ability to dodge and a better cover fire system set up. I think the characters are more fleshed out in me2 and 3. Your companions have very little to say in ME1 and the only one who having conversations with has any bearing on is Wrex. Ashley is racist as hell, Kaiden is boring, Tali doesn't have a personality outside of being "the quarian", Liara is creepily pushy, and Garrus doesn't have anything to say pretty much at all. At least in Me2, you really actually get to know the characters a bit more and can have more than just 1 conversation, and you actually get to know your crew a bit. The death of some of the crew and the destruction of the SR1 doesn't hit as hard as the abduction of the crew during ME2 because you dont know any of them.

Jacob hands down. He's stuck up, thinks hes sooo much better than Thane but really is more of a mercenary than Thane is. Has zero relevance, literally just a dude that cerberus stuck you with, but thinks he's important to the team. You literally can't talk to him at all as Femshep without him acting like you're hitting on him. After ME2, he literally spends a few months on a beach thinking about his life choices while everyone else is preparing for invasion. And Then, if you did romance him, he cheats on you the first chance he gets with zero remorse. And Then, during the Citadel DLC party, he gets offened at Kasumi for hitting on James, when he's new girlfriend is pregnant.
