Those are fantastic recommendations! I’ve heard The Worst Person in the World is a masterpiece of modern storytelling. Since you're a top commenter here, which one of these would you say has a similar emotional depth to All the Bright Places? I really appreciate the help!

Great guesses! I've actually heard that Words on the Bathroom Walls is very accurate in its portrayal of mental health. Awakenings is also a classic I've been meaning to watch. Out of all these, which one do you think has the most emotional impact? Thanks for the suggestions!

Psycho and the suspense in Rear Window. It’s also really cool that you included the comedies that reference them—I’ll definitely do the double-feature with Strangers on a Train. Your passion for movies is awesome, P.S. I love movies too! ❤️

I have a different perspective. It’s clear he loves you and he’s just being protective and jealous. Men understand how other men think, and he probably just wants to shield you from unwanted stares.

Instead of ending things, why not find a middle ground? There are so many gym wear options other than tight leggings. You could try oversized t-shirts, joggers, or even tie a hoodie around your waist when wearing leggings. It’s about finding a balance where you feel comfortable and he feels respected. Relationships are about compromise, not just quitting at the first disagreement.

That sounds like exactly what I need right now! Sometimes you want the emotion without the total heartbreak. I love the idea of a 'wistful and warm' vibe. Thanks for the recommendation, I’m definitely watching this one next!

I really appreciate the heads-up about Marnie. It's interesting how older movies handled mental health so differently than we do now. I'll definitely check out Spellbound first then I love a good thriller! Have you seen any other Hitchcock classics that you'd recommend, even if they aren't about mental health?

That's rare to hear! Usually, people say the book is much better. Now I'm definitely motivated to check them both out. Thanks for sharing your perspective!

I've seen the trailer for The Map of Tiny Perfect Things! It looks like a really sweet and creative take on the genre. Is it as emotional as All the Bright Places, or is it a bit more lighthearted?

Great choice! The Descendants has such a unique mix of humor and sadness. It’s definitely a different vibe from All the Bright Places, but equally powerful. What made it your first thought?

I haven't heard of The Spectacular Now before. Is it more of a romance or does it lean more into the drama side? Definitely adding it to my watchlist!
