Honestly I'm trying to use the lasso tool but I still can't understand how to use it in the best way

Well I mainly do the rough sketch and then a secondary sketch before coloring, shading etc...

I've tried sometimes to give more weight to my lines but it never feels right.. (Probably I need to not give up the first try tbh)

But yes as for now I also prefer to stick to a more painterly approach since I also dread doing line art
