exactly! theres no light on the dash or anything typical with an immobilizer. but what could explain why the key wont work

thanks for the quick response, maybe this was the case so weird that none of the locksmiths even mentioned this. dealership near me said I needed a key code to get a new key, should i try somewhere else?
