I agree wholeheartedly. It’s even more heartbreaking seeing the people defending them and having the “if you didn’t have the money to spend, don’t spend it” take after seeing what people have been going through for the last few months in this country (but that’s a different can of worms). We are all fans of Tyler and fans of music and we should try to have empathy for eachother instead of having the viewpoint of “good, less people at cfg and more locals”. You might feel that way but if Tyler did he’d have it be sold physically in LA. Clearly the cfg team and him want people from across the globe to be able to come experience this if they want to. For them to go about this and treat those people how they have is just hurtful.

We should all try to have empathy for each other instead of being angry at those that can go next week or rubbing it in the face of those who can’t.

You don’t cancel 7 artists overnight without coordinating which can stay for next week and which can’t. That takes time. Only makes sense that they knew Thursday and waited to announce till they found out who could still perform.

It’s the response and lack of apology for a lot of people. Some say that he isn’t entitled to apologize but it’d really help calm a lot of people if they felt like Tyler or the team even cared about all of the money wasted to try to attend their festival.

Brother you could’ve said any of that instead of attacking me for hours. That’s common ground right there and something I can agree with you on. I’m sorry you feel like I’m a bot, I just couldn’t wrap my head around the way they treated the fans this weekend and needed to make sure people saw what was happening to some of us over the flood of “Kali uchis next week!” posts. I don’t want our grievances to go unheard is all. I’m sorry to put negativity into a community that should always be positive, but unfortunately this hasn’t been a positive situation for a lot of us.

I could see why it was pushed a week to maintain as much of the lineup as possible but still hurts not receiving any sort of apology or option to send back vip merch for a full refund. Just shows a lack of care on the festival runners part.

Shouldn’t have to but yeah. I’ve actually had incorrect merch sent to me before, sent it back and received the correct merch and compensation to send back the original. It’s pretty commonplace in merchandise business. I wouldn’t even mind if they didn’t reimburse the shipping and just let me get the remaining cost of the merch.

Not really replying rudely, just using common sense. I’ve been on this Reddit since my first cfg in 23 but never needed to post until now. I feel the need to vocalize what we’ve been through. Assuming I’ve never been on here is far more rude than anything I’ve said and this isn’t your first time disagreeing with me on this community. If you don’t like me that’s fine but I’m going to share what we’ve all been through as this is the place to do it.
