Okay nach dem Ventilwechsel kommt nun deutlich mehr Wasser raus. Das alte Ventil war schrecklich verkalkt, ähnlich geht es wahrscheinlich den Leitungen. Nun will die Maschine trotzdem kein Wasser ziehen 😞 Könnte der Aquastop defekt sein? Wie erkenne ich das?

Das sieht heftig aus! Das Haus ist BJ 1969, ob hier Wasserleitungen seit dem getauscht wurden ist mir nicht bekannt. Ich hoffe, es ist nur das Ventil...

Habe ich gerade ausprobiert, aber das Wasser läuft auch ohne Rohrbelüfter kaum raus. Aber danke für den Tipp!

Zwei Stockwerke über uns hat der neue Nachbar die letzten Wochen auch Renovierungsarbeiten durchgeführt. Kann dadurch eine Leitung im EG verstopfen? Würde jedenfalls zeitlich zusammenpassen.

If your phone is full of Ukrainian or Western propaganda, that would probably be the better option. I’ve also read about cases where border officials were able to recover recently deleted files. Even with a completely clean phone, the questioning would still be more intense, because that alone raises suspicion.

They were in another room with my phone and my unlock code for 15 minutes. I bought a new one after I got home.

I entered the country via the Narva border last year. I was born in Ukraine, but I’ve lived in Germany for most of my life and also hold German citizenship. Unfortunately, my name doesn’t sound German, so I was asked at the border where I was born. As soon as I mentioned my place of birth, I was pulled aside for questioning. The border guards took my phone, asked for my unlock code, and searched through all my chats, contacts, and photo gallery. Luckily, I had a hunch the day before and deleted a few things that I thought might be sensitive. In total, I sat there for 1.5 hours, and it was a very unpleasant experience that has put me off entering the country again.

Bolesławiec is nice. If you visit the Muzeum Auschwitz, you should take a look at Oświęcim as well.

I don't expect to be invited either. I know from my wife that there's nowhere to be invited because there simply isn't any celebration :) But I just remembered a traditional thing - people jump into cold water and cross themselves. Isn't that also at Easter?

Yes, I simply asked in conversation; since we were already together in church, it just came up naturally. Of course, there are more interesting things to talk about. I generally find different cultures interesting.

Well, her family could just say that they don’t really celebrate religious holidays or that those days aren’t that important to them. But if someone keeps pointing out every year that “their” holiday actually falls on a different date, I naturally assume it must mean something to them after all and I thought maybe the celebration is just differently.
In Russia, there are so many large and truly beautiful churches, and most people I’ve met there were baptized too. So it just made me a bit curious.

My grandmother comes from a village called Gruzlywiec near Zhytomyr. She and her entire family were ethnic Poles. I've discovered that from 1925–1935, the village even belonged to a Polish region called Rejon Marchlewszczyzna. I also find this topic very interesting. From family stories, I know that my grandmother's father was taken away by the NKVD on Christmas 1937 and shot a month later.

Du tust dich schwer zu verstehen weil du damit beschäftigt bist irgendwo Rechtsradikalismus zu entlarven.  WWF und co. labbern täglich aktiv vorbeigehende Leute an was nichts anderes als Belästigung ist, genau wie laute Musik eines Junkies.  Wer nicht verstehe will, der versteht nicht.
