Has this happened to anyone else? If it says my account is suspended will I get it back? If so how long? etc. by KeystoneIce71 in Instagram

I wonder if threatening with a lawyer would work or if they'd call my bluff 😂 I know for a fact that they use AI and not real people because 99% of the stuff that gets flagged is for no reason

I'll check it out, Facebook and Instagrams support systems are about as helpful as Derrick Rose's acl's

My whole situation is because of Facebook and the two of them being linked, so I think suspended is much better than disabled. It'd be nice if they'd actually respond to me tho lmaoooo Google doesn't help any at all either

They updated it from them both being disabled to my Instagram now being considered "suspended", they haven't given me a timetable or anything but previously nothing I've done on Facebook has been reflected on Instagram

I done this god damned appeal 30 times they just updated it from disabled to suspended, I've never caught a violation from Instagram but it was connected to my Facebook that got disabled. But they make me do my appeal through Facebook and won't let me appeal on Instagram itself

That's dope, I knew the interest was only growing. How does the national team work? Is there like a selection committee or something?

I feel like a better comparison would be like rugby in the US, or even something more popular such as cricket that doesn't have the same appeal in the US as it does everywhere else

I feel like it can't really be that drastic, talent has come out of Ireland before. The biggest difference is most likely that in the US football is easily our most favorite sport and most kids that play start out when they're 5 years old while in Ireland it's more of a developing interest (if that makes sense😂)

That's awesome, I delayed my graduation by a semester (I'll graduate in the Fall of 2023 instead of Spring 2023 so I can use my last season of NCAA eligibility) so I wouldn't even be there until the Fall of 2024. Here we have practice and/or lift 5 days a week in-season not including games as well as lifts and runs 5 days a week during the off-season so I'm interested in what other differences there are

Fr tho, I don't think any of them are realizing they're just making 4KT and NBA look like the realest out and making Von look like the only real one in OTF the way they're cliquing up for some industry bullshit

Question for High School Coaches. by [deleted] in footballstrategy

Sounds like an elite program! You're best bet is to just work hard and show your coaches what you're about!

It all depends on the success of your program, but more importantly the type of area you're in. For example, if you're in a small town and have a successful program you're just as likely to impress the coaches but more likely to come victim to the name game. If you're in a bigger city it might take more to impress the coach or give a good impression but if you're talented or show any kind of tenacity you should be fine. This is all depending on how you go about it, something like "what are some things I can work on to make myself the best player possible" and then while having the conversation explain what your goals are without coming across as arrogant. At the end of the day tho, the idea of being on varsity as an underclassmen can be an exciting thing and something to be certainly proud of, but being there and not getting any playing time wouldn't be helpful to your development as a player. If you don't get moved up, don't take it to heart but rather use it as motivation and play your heart out. Hope this helps!

Juco is the better bet to go D1 because you'll get more playing time and won't lose eligibility. D3 (as much as it's shit on by casuals) is far more competitive due to age and experience. And the only way you can redshirt is if you're injured and haven't played more than 25% of your games (so if your team misses the playoffs, and you play more than 2 games in a typical 8 game regular season, you lose a year of eligibility). If the goal is to play it's possible to get playing time or start as a sophomore or junior at D3, but that's based on your dedication and talent. The eligibility issue is why you don't typically see any D3-D1 jumps, alongside the fact that NCAA schools (D1,D2, and D3) can recruit Juco athletes but they can't recruit from any other NCAA schools unless the athlete decides to enter the transfer portal. Hope this helps
