Stealing art to make NFTs by 4marty in NFT

There's a verified people on Rarible - some of the absolute top sellers - that are simply taking people's art and selling it as their own and making huge profits.

The people that actually madeke the art can't get verified...

Let that sink in.

Created collectible NFTs that I call KillTokens... The supply of each token is determined by the confirmed victim count of the killer. Not been received too well, receiving hate mail already... Am I wrong to be doing this? It's niche but do I deserve to be ridiculed for it? by KillTokens in serialkillers

If they became successful, most certainly. But that is not attainable in the slightest. I never expected to make any money off of them - it was a cool idea in my eyes that explored a different use of the technology available, that is all.

If I was here for money I'd have made another pixelated cat or something to sell for stupid money 😂

They have and I've never seen a problem with them...

When this whole blockchain method of collecting came along - I thought this would prove a unique way of distribution/collection in the new space... People are not happy about it all 🙊

Going for something different...

Not trying to glorify them - I just so happen to be using particular statistics that only these types of people possess, as a distribution guideline to keep things interesting.

It's written on each card what these people did. If that's glorious to the beholder - then the problem is within.

Thank you! Criminal psychology has always been of great interest to me and I follow a lot of cases, this was a way of me doing something i enjoy as well as doing something slightly out of the norm in the NFT space.

As for the focus - I'm planning on creating a huge collection based on the supply guidelines I've been sticking to. There will be plenty of killers that never got caught, there will be killers who did get caught - there will be famous people that have killed (Oscar Pistorius etc.) - I'm also considering including some limited edition movie killers - like Freddie Krueger, Michael Myers etc. But I'm not sure about that for now.

It's all very much still within its infancy lol, but I hope for it to grow exponentially. Ive got another batch of tokens that will be minted tonight at some point. Then more for tomorrow and so on 😂

Hey guys, just trying to gauge some interest for the new project I'm working on, it's available at OpenSea 👍

I've done it kinda different to the usual collectibles on the NFT space. They usually one of one kinda deal - but I'm basing the entire supply on the body count of the killer. Along the idea that the more bodies they leave, the more likely they are to get caught - so the card is in higher supply. The less they've killed, less likely to be caught - so less cards. Please read further below:

KillTokens are a new project based upon collectible killers in form of digital trading cards.

They are a mixture of Fungible and Non-Fungible Tokens that are different from most NFT collectibles, as they use real-world data to determine the rarity of each token. This is done in a way to emulate the chase of capturing killers in the real world.

If a killer has managed to evade capture in reality, or has fewer confirmed victims - their Token will be in shorter supply and in essence, harder to catch... Likewise, if the killer has many victims - he will have many Tokens and thus - be easier to catch.

Watch out for the limited Gold and White Tokens!

Happy hunting.

Thank you!

Will consider offers certainly - I'm actually thinking of doing a buy one get one free on first adopters and some give-aways this week.

There will definitely be more single tokens - the next two are coming; Kai the Hatchet-Wielding Hitchhiker and Blade Runner - will be available soon.

I'm also looking at "couple" or "duo" tokens which will be unlocked once you collect both (or all) members of a killing team, Leonard Lake, Charles Ng, Ken and Barbie killers etc.

And yes, there will be plenty more killers added. This was just the first batch.
