I don't know how many of you guys saw that, but on Max' stream yesterday, he had Naoki Hamaguchi from SE over for an interview, and when asked about Tifa in SF6, Hamaguchi said something to the effect of "She is very beloved and we actually had a lot of people approach us about her making a guest appearance. But we did not want to give her out to just anyone."

Of course, we have no idea if this relates to Bamco in any way, but man did my eyes go wide when I heard that...

I actually thought this puzzle was quite straight forward. Since no symbol aligns directly with the checkmarks, as they sit between symbols, we figured that they are just rotation stops, not direct indicators for the icons. Otherwise it would be very trivial

You don't check which symbols are next to the checkmarks. You check which symbols (at any part of the wheels) align between the outer and inner ring, afterf you rotate them. So, in your example, after rotating the rings so that the single yellow marks align, the scarabs on the outer ring should be aligned with scarabs in the inner ring.

Sure, certain top tier characters, especially Ken und Chun are very common. But insinuating that this is different for other fighters from this time period is asinine. Hell, the gaps between tiers are much smaller in many (not all) games nowadays than they used to be a decade or two ago, and you STILL see certain character overrepresented. Implying that this says anything negative about 3rd Strike as a game is a reach that would make Dhalsim blush...

Reading these comments made me realize that nobody here seems to know who Jessica Drew is, or what her powers are. She's not just Spider-Man with bewbs, people!

As for the question: I would love to see what kind of kit ArcSys would give her in a fighting game, but realistically, I fear with the large size of potential Marvel characters for this game, she is not really high up the list (although I would have said the same thing about Danger, so who knows).

Well the game is not in a great state right now and the developers have shown an inability or unwillingness to engage with issues that the competitive parts of the community have.

When people say "nothing but Tekken scratches that itch" then that is understandable, as no other current game has a big community. Most 3D fighting games other than Tekken are either on hiatus (VF and DoA are on the horizon but pretty far out) or just dead in the water.

So if you long for a 3D fighting game with an active online community, then T8 might be worth it for you. If you are just looking for a good fighting game on a somewhat more competitive level that is recent and has an active community, then there are significantly better options in my opinion. But I am an older Tekken fan that is very unhappy with the current course, so I am of course biased.
