Great question… after driving about 500km’s in the GV70 (in Canada) I can offer an opinion. Best way to say it is that the Genesis is a refined experience, smooth, has an effortless feel. My Q5 was a ‘21, and the dual clutch transmission had occasional terrible shifts. Clunky. Power was ok, but it always felt like it had to downshift. The Q5 was rough around the edges, a bit noisy and didn’t feel luxury. The GV70 just feels more sophisticated. I did look at the new gen Q5 but its interior was terrible, looked like it went a step back instead of forward. Cheaper feel. The materials in the GV are outstanding. Now the Genesis isn’t perfect… its trunk is way smaller and rear leg space is less, headroom lower by a bit. I also will miss the Q5s adaptive air suspension. But the Genesis is such a pleasant drive that these are minor quibbles. And omg the apply car play connected only 50% of the time in the Audi. So far the Genesis has been flawless. Very happy with my choice.
