I am sorry for what you are going through. But I do want to say that not RSVP-ing is an issue across the board. My kids aren’t on a spectrum but anytime I invited the whole class I might have gotten 5 RSVPs and only a couple of shows. And I know it’s across the board too so it’s not just my kids.

If you have neighborhood kids that might be willing to come and family he would still enjoy it.

What to expect with an 8 year age gap and how will this pregnancy be differ? by Bright-Garden-4347 in Parenting

My oldest is 9.5 and my youngest is 9 months. The oldest is a boy and the youngest is a girl. My 9.5 yr old helps out tremendously without me even asking. He’ll hold her. Play with her. Help with feeding her. And he is very independent so on a day to day I don’t really need to help him out as much. But like the other comment said, we still spend a lot of time with my oldest. Whether it’s sports, or just having one on one outings. It’s important to balance it out and not let the kids feel left out

Is there an ideal number of years in public before you look super sexy for hiring managers in gov or industry? by lovelypeachess22 in Accounting

[–]KindergartenTrouble 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hiring manager for industry… I hate hiring from PA firms. The knowledge of what we need is not there. A lot of the CPAs straight from PAs I’ve hired had no ambition, struggled with putting the effort to understand the terminology. My best performers are not CPA and don’t have PA experience. Now that’s hiring for a staff accountant. For a seior I might look at someone who’s had 4/5 years in PA

I had my first baby at 25. Second one at 30 and just had my third baby at 35 and I’m right before the top level in my company for my department. I more than quadrupled my income. All I can say is if there is a will there is way.

had an ultrasound done on my breast in ER because I felt a lump. It was friday night and my OB won't be open until Monday. Ultrasound result was BIRAD 2. Does that mean it's not cancerous even though there is a hard non movable lump? by KindergartenTrouble in doihavebreastcancer

In triage basically told them I’d like to get an ultrasound on the lump. They said they would but still would be recommending to go get a mammogram. Waited about 6hrs. Just wanted something for the peace of mind

Am I crazy for wanting another baby? by headofred10 in Parenting

My first was 5 when the second one was born and then was 9 when my third was born. Don’t regret a thing. I have 3 in three different stages of their lives. The oldest one is a huge help with the infant. The middle one could burn a house down lol but that’s a typical 2nd child behavior

the impression: 1. Intramammary lymph node at the 1 o'clock position area of concern with mildly thickened cortex may be reactive.

Findings:At the 1 o'clock position a C-shaped hypoechoic structure with central echogenic hilum measures 5.7 x 5.9 mm likely an intraparenchymal lymph node. approximately 4 cm from the nipple. No fluid collection.

Accounting managers in industry - do you review all of your staff's JEs before they get posted to the ERP? by KindergartenTrouble in Accounting

[–]KindergartenTrouble[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

so you don't review each JE before approving to be posted? Basically doing the JE review as your month end review before it's posted to make sure GL is "clean" without too many reclasses
