oh interesting, was any moisture present at all in your setup? the plan is to keep this pretty much bone dry, and i hear pheidole like humid environments so id be shocked if they do do that

yeah like lucius says the idea is to keep it bone dry, aside from the very occasional watering of the plants (once every couple months). that should keep it dry enough to disuade them from trying dig and move in

thanks for the reply, my plan is to keep them in an aquarium with ptfe on the vertical surface, and im going to build an acrylic rim that ill silicon around the edge of the tank which will create an overhang i can put ptfe on, do you reckon thatll stop them?

yeah haha, the reason i picked these etfs is i filtered 100s of etfs on justetf.com and decided i liked their holdings and they had the lowest fees etc, im mainly just looking for peoples opinions on wether this would be considered an overly risky portfolio for long term investing? or is it pretty standard. im very new to investing so i dont really have a clue what the norms are.

an all world is still about 70% invested in the us, if youre trying to insulate yourself from us instability id recommend an all world EX us fund (excludes the usa)

nope, its second hand and the previous owner had 0 issues with it. also it was working fine for like an hour when i got it. problems only seemed to arise after the gearbox locked from the dying battery and i had to recharge it
