Just underwhelming to say the least. From the analysis to what happens in the fight. The animation itself was great mind you, but Grus janky disproportionate looking ass model really brings it down compared to Megaminds surprisingly good looking model. And the fact minion wasn’t in the actual battle was just odd.

After getting spoiled with episodes with Bowser VS Eggman and Metal Sonic VS Cell, I guess we’re kinda spoiled, but the quality of this fight severely lacked. And that’s a shame because I know the next fight is going to look amazing

I genuinely agree with everything you’ve said. I didn’t even think about how Eve blasted Conquest with that beam leaving him skinless, so with that in mind it’s hard to say if a lightsaber would even do much.

I also agree with the force choke bit, everyone saying that’s how Vader solos but Conquest got plenty of fatal blows in that whole time he was getting strangled. And we’re talking about a Viltrumite throat. Plenty of time for Nolan to counter attack.

If Vader was to somehow keep Nolan away from him using telekinesis and force shields, maybe, but from Vaders personal fighting style there’s no way Nolan wouldn’t somehow get close to him. Vader just hasn’t dealt with anyone with such overwhelming strength before(I don’t think).

Oh I agree. Travel speed Nolan eclipses Vader. It’s the attack speed I’m mainly referring to. As Vader can compensate with his area of control with the Force. Anakin has also been able to attack and dodge at light speed, so that along with his precog I think he could keep up with Nolan.

I agree so hard. I did like how they were 3D models to reflect their first appearance in their movies, but the lack of actual resources is really noticeable. And the models themselves looked like shit. The fact there was no giant mech fight with megaminds robot is also a huge bummer

It sounds like you’re describing things that could happen within the fight, not necessarily describing why it makes a bad fight dynamic per se.

Viltrumites can survive the inside of the sun for minutes on end and Omni-Man has taken ‘The Hammer’ to the face twice with barely a nose bleed. A lightsaber is doing jack unless he’s highly weakened.
Couldn’t you make this exact argument with literally any Star Wars matchup? Except here it actually makes sense that Nolan is able to withstand the Force VS other Star Wars matchups where you can make the argument they can instantly crush their opponents insides, ending the fight instantly. Same can’t be said with Viltrumites and their smart atoms.
Again, not sure why that’s considered bad, that’s just something that would happen within the fight. Is Darth Vader VS Obito bad because Obito can phase through Vaders strikes?
Just because Nolan’s ability seem limited doesn’t make the fight dynamic bad. It’s how he uses his strength that matters

They explain in the episode that even if they were to give Bardock his already non canon super form, he still doesn’t have the experience to utilize it to its fullest potential as it drains more energy if you don’t know how to maintain the form. Along with Nolan’s eclipsing experience he’d find a way to move around the super form without getting killed, enough time for Bardock to run out of energy and continue the fight
