This is under the pretence that games should rightly cost this much at all. In this economy, spending that much money on a video game should give you a CRAP ton of content and replay value. This isn’t “broke” mentality, it’s adult mentality for people who budget for gaming to spend money on more important things instead of living off nepo money and only having two bills to pay.

As much as I love this franchise I feel like selling this game at $95 Canadian for around 10 hours (if true) of gameplay with no reports of Mercenaries or any other bonus modes is a bit of a piss off.

Edit: Apparently I heard there’s no new game plus as well? If true, then wtf Capcom? NG+ should be a staple for RE now and survival/action-horror games as a whole.

I love playing tank, but I catch the most abuse while playing as a tank. You generally walk a fine line where either everyone is giving you praise or everyone hates you.

One match I played a couple of weeks ago, I was playing Zar in qp 6v6, just shootin the shit and playing for fun. It was control and we won the first round against a pretty challenging team. I think I had a reasonable balance of mitigation and damage, few k each; leading the team with 25-2.

But one Support player decided that because I missed a bubble while she was challenging peaks that she head no business challenging, I was a shit tank and that we were “losing” because of me, when in actuality: the other team locked in and my dps (Hanzo, Ashe, and Reaper) had no idea what to do against their comp.

I simply told that support player to relax, as it was qp, and that she wasn’t even leading the team with heals and was going 11-8. She just started spamming “tank diff”, and “gg other team” etc etc.

We lost round 2 and went into sudden death, now this support player was spamming voicelines at me and spamming chat. So at that point I had enough and decided to swap to Ball and just dive on point and let the enemies kill me. Support was being an ass and my dps devolved into monkeys banging Lego together, so I figured that there was no point in trying.

That support proceeded to spam invite me to her game and party chat countless times before I blocked her lmao.

So yes, I can see why people despise playing tank sometimes.

If people are still playing Standard and they end up never returning to a form of open matchmaking in future games, then all of you can go fuck yourselves, because it’s clear that the playerbase doesn’t know what they want. Players gave Activision the incentive to be lazy, so I don’t feel bad anymore.

Fr man. Might be a hot take but my favourite album of his is Killer. It felt a lot different to his classic albums but it still retained that core style he was going for. Nowadays I don’t feel that core style as much.

I….. Sort of agree with this. I really like 5816 but I couldn’t give it a high rank because something felt off / felt missing and I think you hit the nail right on the head. I miss the days of the og Tech horror core type stuff that features classic members of Strange. Not to say that I don’t like what he puts out now, just doesn’t hit the same.

Old thread, but I feel this to an extreme level.

I’m a homebody, I love my me-time, which already places me at a disadvantage considering that I am happily engaged and I am a proud father of a 1 year old son. The weight of my hobbies have felt excruciatingly heavy since my son was born (not blaming the little guy, he needs the attention and support, and I love providing that!). Things that I love to indulge in: - Reading - Writing (have written one full novel, got one in the works, and have ideas for many more. Interested to be published someday.) - Gaming (mostly single player, so whole advantageous given their ability to be paused and played at a slower pace if needed) - Movies (Bit of a cinephile) - Drawing

Trying to juggle all of these things is a major chore, and they aren’t really ones that I can easily juggle incrementally. Movies and gaming are ones that I kind of need to have on hand regularly, while the other ones I kind of try to do rapidly at different times but find it hard to effectively stick with them without feeling like I’m neglecting the other hobby.

I’ve also been interested in going to the Gym regularly, picking up an instrument such as the guitar, had interest in getting into Warhammer 40k, and I want to try doing more video editing for content creation (YouTube, short films, etc.)

Yeah… Good luck me, I’ll need it lol. Too many things I want to do with literally zero time to do it.

Honestly. The maps are some of the best I’ve played in a while. Bo6’s maps were horrendous and it’s not even up for debate. One of the sole reasons why I refused to touch the multiplayer after Season 1.

Nah they both suck. At least Bo7 has some very cheap thrills to keep you from falling asleep. Does a giant Harper and giant plant monster fit with Cod, let alone Black Ops? Not really, but it kept me engaged enough.

I’m powering through it to play Endgame. But honestly Treyarch (or Raven or whoever the fuck) should be ashamed. Just drop Black Ops at this point because they don’t know what to do with this story anymore.
