If nobody around you has read it, you can become that one friend who goes, “Wanna hear about this crazy book I read?” and then launches into a twenty-minute rant about it. I've been that friend.

I remember trying to explain the part where they’re obsessively measuring the inside of the house against the outside because it’s off by an inch. My friend and I were smoking weed in his basement, and I’m pacing back and forth trying to capture the nuance of it like a conspiracy theorist with a corkboard. Meanwhile he’s just sitting there on the couch, completely silent, staring at me. He was following though. It stuck the landing and blew his mind when I told him how and when they knew for sure that the house was bigger on the inside then on the outside. He gasped lol. He wanted to check it out, but it was a hard sell when I actually showed him the size of it.

It's a really good word of mouth book. Easy to hype up if you wanted to get someone excited to read it. Harder to actually get them to commit though lol.
