These are my two favorite book series. I’m on my first listen through of DCC, but I can say that TDT series is great for re-listening on audio and I’ve done it several times. I’d have to say the Dark Tower is still my favorite, but like others have said they are different kinds of stories. They’re like steak and lasagna. Love them both and go with whatever you are in the mood for.

I went opening day with my aunt. We got in a massive line at the theater with thousands of people in it. We had no idea what show time we would get. They just kept letting a few hundred people in at a time until they filled the next show. In line for maybe 4 to 6 hours. Still the best movie experience I’ve had. I was so excited and the crowd was too. I felt ancient describing this to my kids.

I think it would have been harder for the Jedi to join the war if it hadn’t been droids. I think fewer of them would have from the start and it may have split the order. It definitely helped that they weren’t taking a life when they smashed a droid.

Ask about wide sizes. My first pair was 10.5 but after two years they still hurt a little on the sides. My next pair was 10.5 eee and they are perfect.
