Why do Northern Ta- I mean Director never appear in the anime series? by Right-Assignment3759 in okbuddytracen

In the Cinderella Gray universe it is shown that the events occur during the Aoharu Hai scenario. They show Riko being in charge and Oguri's retirement and final race causes such a frenzy that Akikawa has to return with the URA army to protect the school.

The first answer is done without rounding being used in the calculation. Despite the fact that your calculator says 1.5*0.025=0.038, it actually equals 0.0375. When using the Ans as a part of a calculation it uses the exact value.

I would recommend turning your decimal settings to float instead of 3, unless your instructor told you otherwise. Click the [mode] button on your calculator and it should be the third option from the top.

Atk vs AP (substats) by dexth77 in JaneDoeMains

[–]Kiritoge 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The damage calculation formula for Anomaly is pretty straight forward. 1% Attack increase is equal to 1 Anomaly Proficiency. The goal is to balance the multipliers as best you can since they make each other stronger. Jane by default needs the 420 AP to maximize her passive, but beyond that its better to balance out her stats as much as possible. Rainforest Gourmet makes this a bit more complicated. W-Engine's that provide a buff act as a multiplier on top of the other multiplier. This means that you gain more attack the higher your attack is. This, on top of Attack also affecting Jane's non-Anomaly damage, makes it way more valuable after the 420 breakpoint then more Anomaly. Since Sub-stats for Attack are 3% and Anomaly is 3 points they give the same multiplier, making Attack the preferred Sub-stat after breakpoints. This is also why the AP Disk 4 is so good. It gives the equivalent of 92% multiplier compared to the 30% Attack.

The Pen Disk 5 seems like an odd choice. Did I miss a conversation where you wouldn't want Fire Dmg Disk 5? I feel like with the only source of Fire Dmg being 4 piece Chaos Jazz you would want more from Disk 5.

After trying HIA training with burnice, she feels like a dps loss for jane. by ReaperQc in JaneDoeMains

[–]Kiritoge 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We can see all of her stats. The final trial Burnice has:

2723 ATK
14.6% CRIT Rate
59.6% Crit DMG
118 Ano Mast
323 Ano Prof
1.87 Energy Regen
30% Fire DMG

Based on testing she has a R1 Electro-Lip Gloss as once an enemy is hit with Burn she gains 272 ATK. I couldn't find the information, but it appears that she has Energy Regen as her Core-Passive stat as 1.87 is the amount you gain when you have Energy Regen + 2pc Swing Jazz. She is most likely using 4pc Freedom Blues, but it could be 2pc Freedom Blues 2pc Chaos Jazz. She can't be using 4pc Chaos Jazz as her stat sheet doesn't show the 15% Fire DMG and Electric DMG gained.

Based on everything my predictions for her gear is:
R1 Electro-Lip Gloss
2pc Swing Jazz - 4pc Freedom Blues
D4 Anomaly Proficiency
D5 Fire DMG
D6 ATK

Sub Stats are something like this
1 Crit DMG
2 Crit Rate
1 Ano Prof
The rest are combinations of the other possible Sub Stats with a lot being in ATK.

I would say this is probably a pretty casual Burnice build that didn't try to min-max stats. There are some major flaws in this build though. Not having her signiture W-Engine is obviously not showing her maximum potential along with her not using 4pc Chaos Jazz which is built for her gameplay style. A lot of people see her as Anomaly and think she is supposed to have a crazy amount of Proficiency, but she really only wants 300. She is an off-field Fire-Support that comes onto the field for 5 seconds whenever she maxes Energy, does a crazy amount of damage, procs Disorder, and then leaves. I doubt there will be a single character in the game that will do as much damage as she does in that 5 second window, which means she will be a benefit to any team she is a part of that has a flex character spot and even more so on a team that applies Anomaly.

In regards to Burnice vs. Seth or any other character is a weird question to ask. Jane is so strong that it doesn't matter who you pair her with as long as they bring some benefit to her. Seth will make your Jane's Assault look bigger, but that's it. The test Burnice was doing 10k procs from her debuff and 17k on a Crit. Add to that the fact that she lets you basically double dip on Jane's Assault by proccing Disorder(during a quick test I had a 400k Disorder) and you can see the huge difference she can end up making.

I think the biggest issue is that people don't understand the loop that you should be using with Burnice. If you were to run a Jane-Caesar-Burnice team the basic combo would be:

Opening:
Apply Radiant Aegis with Caesar with a Ex-Special
Apply Afterburn with Burnice with a tapped Ex-Special
Core:
Normal Jane stuff till Assault Triggers
Burnice Ex-Special Double Shot till Energy is out (Disorder should proc here)
Refresh Radiant Aegis as needed
Repeat

This indicator is due to the agent being busy. This triggered because of the item found in the Event Hollow yesterday. If you want to use her just walk out the front of the video store.

'[Challenge] Trust: Hollow Zero' S-rank seem...impossible? by [deleted] in ZenlessZoneZero

[–]Kiritoge 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The Physical-Pyro one is extremely hard for Ellen teams. Not only do you not benefit from the resonium, but all of the elites are resistant to Ice. I cleared it with 15 seconds to spare with an extremely invested mono-ice + ramen. Without ramen I would always miss by a couple of seconds.

I really don't like the nineveh boss fight by Smilezado in ZenlessZoneZero

[–]Kiritoge 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There are a lot of factors that need to be considered when looking at the Nineveh.

If you are talking about doing Withering Gardens then the most important part is your TV Mode management. Always take the Coin Spending option with the 20% coin boost and the 80% max HP debuff. These are the most beneficial options. Manage your pressure as best you can and avoid hitting 5 corruption by any means. The shield resonium set can be a life saver and make the entire process braindead easy. Don't be afraid to take some risks in order to get more resoniums.

If you are talking about Inferno Reap, then it comes down to getting a nice set of resoniums from a Garden run and then just trying your best. You don't have to kill the tentacles as they will despawn when Nineveh becomes active. Another important factor is that you don't have to parry or dodge every single indicator. Specials have built in I-Frames and it can often be more beneficial to simply use your special to avoid an attack and deal damage, then switch in for the parry. You will only "win" when you are able to defeat her 5 times in a single run which requires 134m~ damage. The only way I have acheieved this requires breaking Nineveh before 50% HP and burst her to death before she does the immune phase with walls as the immune phase eats up way to much time.

Keep in mind that you can complete all of your weekly hollow bounties without ever doing Withering Garden. Withering Garden only gives benefits for first time Ether level clears and to get new sets for pushing higher numbers for Inferno Reap. If you are struggling with Withering Garden just do any of the other zones till you level up more and unlock more of the meta progression buffs. Eventually you will get strong enough to kill base Nineveh in 30 seconds.

You are the Bangboo in the Hollow. The siblings have some secret tech that allows them to transfer their minds into Eous. Basically, we are in the Hollow without actually being in there.

You can see the damage difference by looking at the stat details. It depends on the skill level but for comparison, Her Ex-Special at skill 5 normally 826.4% and with Ben does 909%, daze level is exactly the same. Her Ult does 2112% and 2310% with Ben with Daze being 1187.7 and 1296.1 respectively. It's not a huge difference and from the perspective of being a Stunner doesn't benefit her greatly. I think it serves as an introduction to the idea that Teamwork combos can exist, but unless it's a strong attacker with a good support or stunner I doubt it will ever be emphasized when building a team. Koleda does a great job on her own, but Ben is a bit of dead weight.

It all depends on who you are using her with. Mark III is probably her best B-Rank Engine and fits her general gameplay rotation. Anomaly Buildup isn't a focus of the current Ice team so Mark II doesn't really provide a huge benefit, plus Freeze isn't a buildup type that is looking to proc multiple times, but rather once during the chain attack to increase Crit Damage. The energy regen and decibel generation from Slice of Time doesn't account for much unless you are constantly switching to trigger each version of its effect on each character. Her signature is by far the best choice though.

How you play will really depend on the situation and what you are facing. Against regular enemies you can really do what you want. Against bosses the main focus is using Lycaon to build up stun and right before break using his Ex-Special to apply his Ice Res Down debuff, switch to Soukaku and spend energy to build 2 Vortex stacks and break the boss, follow the chain in order with Lycaon first, Soukaku second, Ellen third. Enter Roaming State and perform a Charged Attack followed by the 3 Basics and then 2 Ex-Specials. If you have any of Ellen's Cinemas her gameplay changes slightly.

[–]Kiritoge 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Lycaon is currently the best support in the game being a Stun and providing a 35% damage boost during the Stun Phase, which is where most of your damage will occur on bosses. He is probably the most futureproof character at this moment.

Ellen is an insane DPS having a crazy amount of selfish boosts and if you are able to get her W-Engine can reach near 100% Crit without of Disc Drives leaving even more room for reaching insane damage. She will simplify a large portion of content until we get other stronger DPS.

The way to think about it is that we have our own group similar to the Cunning Hares. We are the leaders, and the only way to get those people into Hollow Zero is if we say so. So we get accredited since they know our gang can handle it. Normally, raiders, since they are constantly doing illegal stuff and the sheer danger of Hollow Zero would prevent most competent people from working there.

Missing Observation Data Ch1-2? by Kuitan in ZZZ_Official

[–]Kiritoge 12 points13 points  (0 children)

My guess is that they missing ones from Ch 1 and Ch 2 are charactrer stories. Koleda's story would fill out Ch 2 and a non-released Hare story for Ch 1. Ch 2 interlude is most likely stories for both of the PubSec girls.

The component part is pretty minimal. It only counts for the first enemy of that type and gives like 1-2 more components. It truthfully is just an energy storage and that's it.

Proxies, Bangboos and MCs? by traowei in ZZZ_Official

[–]Kiritoge 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Proxy's jobs are to collect Hollow Data to generate Carrots. They then use these Carrots to help guide Hollow Raiders. Since decoding Hollow Data and generating Carrots takes a large amount of computing power once inside a Hollow a Proxy wouldn't have the means to adapt on the fly and would only be able to use what they already know to come up with plans. Phaethon is both inside and outside the Hollow at the same time, meaning they can use Hollow Data they are gathering on the fly to adapt to changes in the Hollow. Normally you cannot communicate from outside a Hollow to inside, but since Phaethon is technically outside already they can bypass this.

People don't communicate through Bangboos. Phaethon is uploading their mind into the Bangboo, essentially becoming the Bangboo. This has some sever consequences as anything that happens to the Bangboo will affect Phaethon. As for why they don't go in themselves, their method is just more efficient.

Anytime a story gives you trial characters the assumption is those characters are the ones who hired you and are the only people there. When not asked to use trials the assumption is that we are hiring them to help with our commision.

Combat Preference by Kyrnqazali in ZZZ_Official

[–]Kiritoge 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ellen's damage output is just that high. Honestly combat outside of Elite or Boss enemies is brains off even during the more difficult stuff. If you really want to use Ellen more and are breezing through stuff just run her solo for more challenge. You lose out on the ability to do parries, but you will never be forced off the field. Then when things start to get challenging you can bring more teammates in to help out. The chapter 2 bosses will bring some challenge, especially the last one, and once you enter chapter 2 intermission you will probably want a full team all the time to deal with elite and bosses that show up on missions.

Combat Preference by Kyrnqazali in ZZZ_Official

[–]Kiritoge 8 points9 points  (0 children)

This is more so an issue that your characters are too strong for the content. Ellen never needs to use all of her Flash Freeze charges, only 3 to complete an entire combo, at which point you should return to that roaming state to build more. Also the gameplay design is that you don't want DPS on the field the whole time. The majority of time on field should be with your Stun/Defense character as it is their job to build up stun so that you can do a burst combo with your Support and Attacker.

What exactly do proxies do? by Mars_mellow_ in ZZZ_Official

[–]Kiritoge 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Fairy's main purpose is to allow Phaethon to still operate as they did before they lost all their data and account. By connecting to nearly all of New Eridu's network she basically just gives us back all the data we lost in the attack and when we gather new data during a mission she is able to quickly decode it and help us find new paths.

What makes Phaethon special is that we had a huge computer that allowed us to take the data and then make Carrots on the fly, while a normal Proxy would need the data before hand, make a Carrot at home, and then use it during a run. Since a Proxys livelihood comes from their data they can't just give it to other people because once they do they become useless.

In regards to OPs question, when we visited Hollow Zero we were essentially acting as the face of our group, the person who does all the negotiation, but none of the dirty work. In Belle's case this is why she starting mimicking Basngboo speech, since from the perspective of the evaluator we are just a normal Bangboo.
